Honestly I don't think parents should helicopter their kids. People need to be hurt or they won't survive. Parents should try to get their kids to make the right decisions. They should let kids learn from their mistakes and be there for them when they are hurt. Always pay attention to them and teach them good from the start. Because if you do it later they might already be broken and lost with trust issues...
At least that's what I think.
