I was watching Netflix on the TV that David had set up in my room. Originally, it was in his, but he said since he mostly uses the one in the living room, I could have this one for myself. Taking another bite out of my cookie dough leftover from earlier, I looked over at the clock. It was already one in the morning. I guess I had been on a binge of Disney movies for longer than I thought.
During my favorite scene of Hercules, I heard a tapping noise coming from somewhere in my room. I paused my movie, and my singing, to make sure I wasn't hearing things. When another tap occurred, I looked toward my bedroom window and saw pebbles bouncing off the glass. I groaned at the thought of leaving my comfy bed to investigate, but I knew I had to or else it wouldn't stop. I sulked out of my bed and crept to the window, careful not to present the fact that I wasn't wearing pants. Thankfully, my big Stitch t-shirt covered what it needed to.
I opened up the glass and as soon as I peaked outside, none-other than Liam Warren was outside my bedroom window, about to chunk another pebble in my face. He stopped mid throw when he met my annoyed expression. He guiltily looked at me, then the pebble, then back at me, dropping the pebble.
"This would've made a lot more sense if you lived in a two story house, but I've just always wanted to do this. So I had to work with what I got." He jested, throwing his hands up.
I kneeled by my windowsill and rested my face in my hand. "Liam?" I questioned sarcastically, "What in the absolute hell, are you doing at my house, at one in the morning?" I had begun to think letting him take me home the other day had been a bad idea. It was only a matter of time before he abused the knowledge of knowing where I lived.
Looking him up and down, I noticed he was dressed very casually. Wearing a plain grey t-shirt and sweatpants. And even though it was pitch black outside, the illumination from my room still allowed me to see his adorable face.
Fuck, I'm doing it again.
"Well, I couldn't sleep, and I was bored, and I wanted to see if you would want to go out with me? Like outside with me?" He asked like a cute little begging puppy. Who says no to a cute puppy?
Before answering his offer, I had another question. "How did you know this was my room? I don't recall telling you which one it was."
Liam smirked evilly, "That part was a little worry-some. At first I thought I'd have to guess, but then I just followed the sound of someone singing 'I Won't Say I'm In Love' and found myself figuring out your room."
My eyes widened and my cheeks became hot. Not only was it embarrassing that Liam heard me singing, but why did it have to be that song? What kind of coincidence is that?
A stupid one that didn't mean anything. That's what kind.
I attempted to turn my bashfulness into sarcasm and rolled my eyes, "Whatever, weirdo. I'm just embracing my love for Disney while you're over here being Creepy Peepy and stalking me!" I accused.
Liam laughed and held a hand out, "So, Miss Disney fanatic, do you trust me?"
Okay, okay, I admit it was smooth of him to use the iconic Aladdin line on me. But that didn't mean that I was going to sneak out with this cutie in the middle of the night.
Oh who the hell am I kidding, yes I was.
"Fine." I gave in with little fight. "Just give me a minute to... get ready." I was turning around, about to stand up, when I remembered what little clothing I had on. I looked back over at Liam, "Just turn around and give me a minute."
Another smirk smeared onto the boy's lips, as he shrugged and did as I said for once.
I hurried away from the window, not sure if Liam would try to sneak a peak. When I was safely out of view, I scavenged my dresser for a pair of jeans while wondering what kind of night this guy was about to pull me into. I checked my hair in the bathroom and decided it would be best pulled up in a bun, but as I started to do that-
