Pride

Tenko woke up to Himiko kneeling over her with an outrageously rainbow hat on. She blinked for a bit, not really knowing what was going on.

"Nyeh.... Wake up Tenko..." her hands were scrubbing her eyes and her voice was mostly drowsy.

"It's already 7am! " Angie busted into the room. She was never late to anything and she most certainly wasn't gonna be late to pride.

"Huh, where are we going?" Tenko asked. She also noticed Angie's wild costume - a rainbow striped dress tieing up around her neck.

"... Pride?" Tenko guessed her answer. Angie nodded excitedly.

"Yaahaa! Atua wished good blessing on all of us."

They got there at 9. The floats were already there and making their way down the street. Angie was buying a ridiculously overpriced bow while Himiko was checking out a deck of tarot cards. Tenko took note of where they were, before running up to her favourite artist. Hayley Kiyoko.

She would blast girls love girls for the past few Friday nights, and her and Himiko would burst out all the words. Some nights Angie joined in.

Himiko went up to see Hayley too, holding onto Tenko and Angie like she was afraid to get lost.

"Smile Everyone!" Angie held her phone out, getting everyone squished together for a photo. She smiled and took the selfie. Himiko was squished between Angie and Tenko, and Tenko did a anime pose.

Himiko came home holding her new tarot cards. Tenko ran in, immediately sticking her autograph of Hayley up on her wall. Himiko put her cards near the desks. Angie had the bow in her hair and refused to take it off.

Finally, they drifted to sleep. Tenko's sleep got disturbed halfway through the night as Angie went to the bathroom but other than that it was okay.

While Angie was in the bathroom, she remembered the picture she took. She got it out, having already printed it off after pride. She stuck it to the bathroom mirror, up high enough so nothing could disturb it. She smiled and went back to bed, sleeping peacefully and thanking Atua for her two amazing girlfriends.
