"I'm the cute one!" Angie argued. She sat on the desk chair next to the computer, looking over at Himiko and Tenko.

"Nuh uh." Himiko laid down on the bed, slowing scrolling though Instagram but still joining the conversation."I'm the smallest, so I should be the cute one, right?"

"I know I'm the strong one at least. Right Himiko-San?" Tenko sat next to Himiko, slowly braiding her short hair.

"Nyeh, I guess..." Himiko replied.

"Okay, then Tenko. We'll take it to a vote!" Angie suggested. Himiko earnestly agreed. Tenko shook her head.

"I couldn't pick out of you two! That's like asking me to pick favourites!" Tenko stopped braided Himiko's hair to look at Angie.

"Nyahahah! Then how shall we decide who's cuter?" Angie got off the chair to sit beside Tenko. "Plus, I knew you would pick Himiko."

Tenko shot a confused look at her before stopping braiding Himiko's hair and settling her arm around Angie. Angie curled up her nose, the other girl smelt of sweat. Tenko seemingly didn't notice.

"Angie, you're cute in your own way!" Tenko encouraged her. "You're own, island dwelling, beachy sunset way

"... Did you just decribe Angie as a beachy sunset?? " Himiko asked, not looking up.

Tenko seemed to just now notice what she said. "Ahh! I - I thought it would be more romantic."

Angie smiled. "Angie appreciates the effort! And you have just given Angie an idea of what to draw!"

Angie ran out of the room, before coming back in a few minutes later to grab her paintbrushes. Tenko went back to braiding Himiko's hair and Himiko went back to scrolling through her phone.

"I'm fine if you think Angie's the cute one." Himiko said, catching Tenko by surprise. "Plus, I think I'm the smart one."

Tenko darted her eyes away. "You are... very smart.

Himiko looked up at her with an blank expression. "I'm the smart one."

"Yes- yes, you are." Tenko insisted. Himiko settled back down pleased.

Angie entered the room a few hours later. Himiko's whole hair was braided now, and Tenko was pleased with the result, even if Himiko seemed disgruntled.

"Angie is proud to present- drumroll please...." Himiko stared blankly at Angie while Tenko started enthusiastically drumrolling. Angie dragged a painting covered by a white sheet. "- The lovers sunset."

Angie ripped off the cover. Himiko gasped, her face slightly blushing - which might have been the most emotion Angie had seen her have. Tenko was screaming in joy, instantly running up to hug Angie. "I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!!!"

Angie smiled, although finding it a bit hard to breath with Tenko hugging her so hard. Tenko was still smiling like an idiot. "I LOVE IT SO MUCH, I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT, I DON'T DESERVE YOU!"

"Angie wasn't sure if you'd like it, so she is glad!" Angie said. The picture was detailed painting of three figures on the beach, sunset gleaming behind them. They all wore smiles, and you could clearly see that the three figure were based on Angie, Tenko and Himiko.

Angie smiled again, returning Tenko's hug. She wondered what life would be like without her two girlfriends. She knew she wouldn't be able to survive.
