"Are we really doing this?" Jason whispers, excitedly hopping out of the taxi behind me.
"Oh yeah." I breathe, storming straight up to the house and roughly opening the door.
"JANE!" I shout loudly, my voice bouncing off the walls.
"In here Sweetie!"
Heading towards the living area with anger boiling under my skin, I don't think twice before opening my mouth the second I step foot in the room.
"What's up sweetie?" She asks in that sickly sweet tone of voice.
"What's up? Are you insane or just plain fucking stupid?" I snap, unleashing the rage that only seems to build inside me.
"Wha-"
"Let me make myself perfectly clear, and I know you're not hard of hearing so make sure you listen." I glare, not blinking for the third in the room.
"I know about Severus, I know you attempted to kill him and failed. The fact that you can even do such a thing to your own blood makes me wonder how bad things could have been for me had I not been your little bitch for eighteen fucking years." The anger in my tone is by far from over.
"Ronnie-"
"It's Veronica! I know all about your lies and dirty little secrets. I know your sadistic, freak of a son sexually harassed me on my birthday." I declare firmly without shame.
"I know you and your husband aren't my parents, you raised me through lie after lie." I spit.
"Sit down-"
"I know who you are, Alpha John of white crescent, and his little Luna. Both wolves, and both a disgrace to their own kind." I ruthlessly fire blow after blow.
My mercy none existent, the pain and betrayal in their eyes is merely an act to hide their rage, and I couldn't care less. Alexander gapes at me like a goldfish.
"You don't deserve me. You never have, and you don't deserve Severus as your son." I sneer.
Alexander abruptly stands up, in a flash I'm shoved against the wall with my hands pinned down. He gets in my face, eyes obsidian black, warning me to back down.
Pain shoots through my head, forcing me to gasp as images swim through my mind. Memories triggered through his grasp on me, and I remember the night of my birthday. I remember everything, including everything he did to me.
"You're a vile, disgusting person." I whisper as tears stream down my face.
"And you're stuck with me forever, mate." He grins darkly.
The news doesn't shock me, it's no surprise that something like this happened, it's just my luck. Like the night of my birthday, he's ripped away from me and harshly shoved to the floor.
"Over my dead body." Jason snarls murderously.
Wiping my eyes I quickly grab Jason's hand, before he gets himself killed as all three of them rise to their feet. Seeing the look in their eyes, I quickly pull Jason from the room and drag him out of the house.
Being in the middle of the woods means the quickest way to safety is through the woods. So I don't think twice about it before sprinting off into the woods, Jason right next to me.
My heart pounds as low growls sound behind us, forcing my legs to speed up. My thighs burn with the strain of sprinting to fast and so suddenly, I pay it no mind as I focus on my surroundings. It's still daytime, meaning we're able to see properly. I'm not sure if it's with panic or the wind hitting my face, but my eyes blur with water.
