It's been about a week since Arkham, and nobody has seen Robin since then. He wasn't even spotted in Gotham, and Batman was hardly seen outside of Gotham anymore. This worried the team greatly, was Robin ok?

'Recognized: Batman 01, Robin B-01'

The team all turned and saw Batman and Robin exit the Zeta. However, Robin looked sick.

"Robin!" The team exclaimed with relief, they rushed towards him. They stopped about a meter away, unsure if they would be allowed to give him a hug. Robin sighed before he approached them.

"I forgive you guys, just please, don't do something like that again." He Said, and the team nodded. Before crushing him in a hug, which made Robin start to cough violently. They jumped back from shock, and Batman rushed forward. Concern and worry actually present on his face, as he steadied Robin.

"Robin, are-are you ok?" Wally Asked, and Robin shook his head no. As he whipped sweat off his forehead, the team actually looked at Robin up close.

His skin was pretty pale, and he looked thinner than the last time they saw him. He also looked more fatigued than he should've been.

"What's wrong?" Artemis Asked him, and Batman sighed.

"During the Mass Breakout at Arkham, Firefly decides it a good idea to try and overload the Gotham nuclear plant, Robin managed to stop him and shut down the plant. But, not before Firefly hit Robin with a blast of his suits radiation blasts. Robin took the shot for one of the workers, and due to the amount of radiation he was exposed to." Batman Said, but Wally paled.

"Please don't tell me." He began, but Robin looked down.

"I have cancer."

The end.

He Said, and the team felt their worlds shatter. How could this be? This shouldn't be possible, he was still so young! His words echoing in their heads, seeming to get louder and louder each time it was repeated.

"Lucky for us, it's only Lung Cancer." J'honn Said as he walked into the room. The team spun around and looked at him incredulously.

"How is that lucky?!? Cancer is still cancer!" Artemis Shouted, and J'honn sighed.

"It is lucky for it can be treated." He Said, and Robin made a disgusted face.

"I have stage two lung cancer J'honn, I don't see how essentially poisoning myself will make it better." He stated, and Batman sighed.
