Junkyu's POV
I walk inside the ICU, there he is my baby, he was sleeping with a bandage in his head. I checked him up and saw some scratch in his beautiful face. I sat right next to my sleeping boyfriend and grab his hand and bring it to my lips and kiss it.
"Mashi...baby" I call him between sobs. He didn't answer me. I just cry and cry, how could this happen to him?
"He is still in coma Doc" I heared the nurse said to doctor. What? He is in coma but? I was so confused right now I don't know what to do.
"Mr. Kim Junkyu right?" the guy in his 40's came to ask me. I just nodded while wiping my tears and calm my self to ask the doctor what really happen to my baby.
The doctor explained to me that Mashiho is in coma right now and he needed to wake up until this day because if not they might perform another test. The accident cause him to hit his head in a solid object. Good thing there was no blood clot inside his head. If he wakes up he might suffer a temporary amnesia. The doctor ask me to help Mashiho wake up, but what should I do?
The doctor told me that even though a patient is in coma they can still hear their sorroundings. So I decided to talk to Mashiho and tell him how much I missed him.
The nurse and the doctor left the ICU, now I have to help Mashiho wake up. I held his hand again and started to talk.
"Mashi please wake up now, I missed you so bad. The boys are all here waiting for you, Doyoung wanted to play with you. Jihoon wants to do exercise with again, Hyunsuk wanted to practice with you with our new dance and I want to hug you whole day baby so please wake up now" I just cry and cry coz still no response from him.
"Junkyu..."
"Huh...? Where is Mashi?" I ask Jihoon. I slept, when I saw his bed Mashiho is not there. I started to panic. Jihoon just hug me and patted me at my back.
"He was already awake earlier, but you were sleeping soundly so the nurse didn't bother to wake you up. He was now move to a private room and ..." he suddenly stop.
"and what?" I stare at him. "you see it yourself, let's go" Jihoon drag me out of ICU and bring me to Mashiho's room. All of them was sitting oitside the room crying. Why? Is he dead? No it can't be!
I step inside the room and saw Mashi lying in bed sleeping, I guess. I came near to him and seated on the chair.
"Mashi?" I call him softly. He move his eyes slowly and frowned thank God his still alive I told myself. "Who are you?" he ask.
Wait, what? He didn't know me? "He has a temporary amnesia" I remembered what the doctor told me earlier. Oh no! How will I introduced myself to him, that I am Kim Junkyu his boyfriend?
My tears starting to fall again, why is this happening? Author-nim why did you write our story this way? 😭
"why are you crying? I was just asking your name?" he softly said.
"I...am Kim Junkyu, your....b..boyfrie.." I was not able to finish what I was saying when the door open and a woman who look like Mashiho came in. Yes it is his Mom, she was crying seeing Mashiho's situation.
"Oh my God, my son what happened to you?" his mom ask in disbelief. "Who are you Ma'am?"he ask his Mom. Even his own mother he didn't recognize?
"Mashi baby I am your Mother, can't you remember me?" his Mom starting to cry. I can see her pain, his very own son doesn't recognize him.
I try to comfort his Mom by patting her shoulder, in return she hug me and cried in my chest.
"No please don't cry I didn't mean to hurt, I just don't remember anyone not even my name" Mashiho shyly speak. Oh my baby, my poor baby we need to help him remember everything.
"The doctor said he has a temporary amnesia, and the only way we can help him is to let him remember who he is and what he is. Who we are in his life." I told his mom.
"Thank you Junkyu-yah for always there for Mashi" she patted me and then face his confused son.
"Mashi, baby when you got out of the hospital we will go home and there you will start again" his mom told him.
I was frozen where I stand hearing those words from his mom. He will go back to Japan and then what? How will I be able to remind him about us? My heart and mind was devastated right now.
Confused Mashiho just nodded to what his Mother said.
