Rise of the gaurdians-the guardian of bravery

chapter 6

                                                               CHAPTER 6

   I knew someone, I didn't know how or why I was there but I was. I needed to know when. I decided to go visit my brother, I haven't visited him for so long!

   I flew up happily in the air, feeling freedom for the first time in forever. I laughed and saw my hair start glowing pink. I laughed and flew, avoiding sandy's dream sand. I was nearly there when sandy flew in front of me on his little sand cloud. He waved and smiled, I saw a brighter glow and smiled as well and waved back.

   I saw my hair glow yellow and I realized, I just revealed I was hiding something. I laughed awkwardly and fluttered up, waving then turning and flying the fastest I could. I saw the house, and I saw Gilan sitting and watching out the window. "Gilan!" I screamed, I grinned and saw the glow turn to a neon green. I tried to tackle him but went straight through him.

   I got up and stared at his back, he didn't move a muscle. I stared, my mouth gapping. I saw sandy fly through him as well and sit beside me. I just sat there staring at him, why Gilan, WHY? I started weeping and heard him gasp. Sandy tried to calm me down but I didn't, everything outside wilted and yellowed or blackened. I just wanted my brother back.

     I looked over to sandy still crying and saw the panicked look on his face. I felt even worse seeing him sad, but I was cut out of my thoughts by my brother saying, "Whats going on," Me and sandy's heads snapped towards him, "Farah would know what's going on. She would say eat a lollipop and lie your life, I guess she won't mind if I take one, she isn't here to say no any ways." He turned and he walked straight through me. I went back to crying.

   He came back with a green and blue lollipop, marble, his favorite. But he also had a purple and red lollipop, marble, my favorite. He sighed and plopped on his bed, then I noticed in his hand, was my drawing notepad. "Hey," I gasped getting up and jumping to try and grab it. I went through him and watched him open it from the ground, he gasped. Gilan flipped through the pages and said, "What the heck?" I stared at him wide eyed, he might remember!

    "Tooth... Sandy... wait the Easter bunny?" He gasped and dropped the notepad. "I thought she was afraid of bunny's! And I thought she hated the Easter bunny!" I stared at him teary eyed, but to my surprise he reached down and searched through it. "What..." He saw a picture I had drawn yesterday. I sneak in when I'm feeling glum through my old window but just avoid him. "Who are they..." I saw sandy looking over his shoulder and his eyes widened, on that page was a picture of me and Jericho.

   I curled into a ball and rocked back and forth, "Why me, why me, why me." I kept whispering, I felt the tears reforming then I heard Gilan yell, "Farah was here!" I stared up at him and he grinned, he dived towards his dresser and opened the bottom drawer. I gasped and stared at what he pulled out.

   First he pulled out my favorite boots, they were high and red. Then I smiled as he pulled out my favorite socks, they were transparent and almost up to my knees. Next I tilted my head, still smiling, as he now pulled out red nail polish and two black bracelets. Then I shook my head, still smiling of course, as he pulled out a short red jacket. Then I grinned as he pulled out my only dress, a red poofy dress a little above my knees with no sleeves and a V neck. It also went down to the middle of my back in a giant V.

   "You little genius." I whispered, he looked back and saw me. He dived and hugged me, I turned him around and put him in a headlock. "Disgrace to humanity!" We laughed and I introduced him to sandy.

   He told me that he had made this little match all by himself, but I was to amazed to believe it. "I might come back for it one day." I said grinning, but for sure it would be tomorrow. Then I heard the front door open and slam shut. "Mom..." I whispered, I grinned. "Throw this outside my room quickly and say I... uh..." I thought a bit, "Tell her I went to a friends house, and I was late so I was in a hurry and something fell out of my bag while I was... uh... running?" He laughed, "Good that." And off he went.

   "Oh just remembered," I called to Gilan, "I have a few things to do!" and with that I flew out the window. Sandy trailed behind me but eventually I flapped my wings so hard I thought they would fall off, and I out flew him. The protector of dreams himself.

   I sat on the nearest roof and hugged my legs to my chest, today was rough. I cried softly to myself and heard a soft voice call out to me, "Comet?" It was the boy's from my memory. "Go. Away." I said closing my eyes tightly. "Comet!" I heard frustration in his Australian accent and I shook my head and shot up into the sky.

   "Go away!" I screamed pulling my hair and fluttering in place. I fluttered to the ground still pulling at my hair, I heard someone walk up behind me but I knew it was just a kid. "Comet...?" I screamed again and yelled, "Screw whoever Jericho is!" I screamed spiraling up into the sky.

   I was flying and flying and my eyes felt droopy. I felt and saw everything turning fuzzy. I fluttered to the ground and stumbled, I fell on my back onto the ground. I groaned and whispered as I heard someone walking up behind me, "What's... going on." And then I blacked out.

   I woke up with bunnymund and sandy in front of me, bunny's back was towards me and they didn't see I was awake. I was in the same spot as I was yesterday, there were tiger lillies and roses around me. It was an amazing sight.

   "What do you mean?" Bunny said, I looked down at my hand and saw the two black bracelets from last night were around my wrist, and my nails were painted red. I looked down and saw I was wearing the whole outfit. The two turned towards me and gasped, I tilted my head and bunny said, "Your eyes... they- they- they're red." My jaw dropped and then he continued, "And your hair is red, like, bright, bright red." My jaw dropped even more.

   Then I thought about the flashback i had, I remembered seeing my reflection off of a pond while me and Jericho were  running through the forest. I had hair a little above my knees and chocolate brown eyes, like I had before I became a guardian. But my hair was bright red, I wasn't someone to mess with. "What's going on." My voice was a little deeper than normal and I sounded like Sharpay.

   I sounded like her but... girlier! They looked at me, shocked at the scene in front of them, "It's comet." I heard bunny say, I stared at him like he was a mad man but instead of the madness in his eyes I saw something I hadn't seen in any of the guardians.

Fear.

   I raised an eyebrow and attempted a laugh to brighten the mood but resulted in making me scared as well. My laugh was high pitched and squeaky. I covered my hand with my mouth and slowly felt my hand become wet, I was silently crying.

   I ignored sandy as he sent up some sand sybols to bunnymund. I just wanted to be alone, just for a second or two atleast? Then I saw sandy toss something from hand to hand, I looked u pand my eyes widened. He held up his hand and threw a ball of sand that smothered my face. I screamed before I blacked out, it was high pitched and broke in the middle. I saw one gold figure atop my head before feeling my head hit the ground again, my neclace.

In my blackened thoughts all I could think of, was what powers my neclace could contain.
