Sam wandered around wondering what Jules was hiding. Cas ran into him. "Where is she?"

"Still in the panic room. I put out the holy fire but she said that she'd leave when she wanted. But it was weird, it was like she couldn't leave even if she wanted to."

Cas nodded, "She's hiding something."

"Yeah, and I intend to find out what it is. I'll be back, I'm gonna go check on her." Sam walked back down the steps and whipped open the door to the panic room. Jules had her back to him so Sam reached a hand out to tap her shoulder. Her head swung around right before he could touch her. She winked and her eyes filled with black. "Hello sweetie. Back so soon?"

Sam's hand recoiled, "What the hell?" He tried to yell, but it came out as a whisper. Jules turned her eyes back to blue, "Now are you gonna let me out?" Her words were menacing, she was threatening him. Sam cut the paint on the devil' trap on the floor and Jules stepped around him. Sam caught her arm just as she tried to run. "Not so fast. You're not going anywhere until you tell me how the hell it's possible for you to be an angel and a demon."

"Ha," Jules smirked, "Why don't you tell me? I don't have any idea how I am what I am." She seemed ashamed, as if she hated what she was. "All I ask, is that you don't tell Dean or Castiel."

"Why?" Sam wanted to know why he could know, but Dean couldn't.

"I have my reasons. I'll stay out and help you with the demon invasion, as long as you swear not to tell them."

Sam weighed his options. He had no idea how many demons there were, they were gonna need all the help they could get. "Fine," he said reluctantly, "But you have to promise you won't try to run."

"You have my word." Jules smiled at Sam as he let go of her arm. They walked back upstairs with Sam leading the way.

Castiel saw them walk upstairs so he followed them. He stopped outside of the door when he heard them talking. "Why Cas and Dean? Why can't they know?" Sam asked Jules.

"I told you before, I have my reasons. Why do you care so much?"

"I'm not good at hiding things from Dean. He knows me too well. I also don't want them to get hurt."

"The only thing that could possibly hurt them is the demons. Do you really think I would lie to you? Hurt the ones I love?"

"What did you just say?" Sam asked, confused.

"Nothing. Do you always have to be up my ass about the things I say?"

"Watch your language." Sam warned. He got up and left. He heard the sound of wings as he reached the door. He looked back, but Jules was still there. She flipped him off so he turned on his heel and went downstairs. "I see that you got Jules to leave the panic room." Castiel said.

"It wasn't easy, but she promised to help us with this whole demon invasion thing." Sam hated lying about the promise he had made. "So, any word from Dean or Bobby?"

"They found signs of demon activity. Jules isn't lying to us."

"Do you know when they'll be back?" Sam asked, hoping Dean wouldn't be home for awhile.

"They didn't say."

"Okay. Well, keep an eye on Jules. She promised she wouldn't leave, but I still don't trust her. I'm gonna go get some sleep."

"I'll wake you when Dean and Bobby get back."

"Thanks. Night Cas."

Around midnight, Dean and Bobby got back. "Where's the girl?" Dean asked as he walked through the door.

"Upstairs, just laying on the bed." Cas replied, happy to see his hunter.

"She's hiding something from us." Dean sprinted up the stairs. Throwing Jules' door open. She sat up with a start. "What the hell do you want? Don't you people get the concept of personal space?"

"What are you hiding from us? Don't even think about lying to me."

"What would I possibly be hiding from you?"

"The demon we caught thought that it was so funny that we were 'associating with someone of your kind'"

"Maybe he's lying, demons lie you know. And they also hate Angels."

"I don't care how long it takes, I will find out what you are hiding from us."

"Take as long as you need. Now leave. Me. Alone." She buried her head under the blanket, signaling that the conversation was over. Dean gave a frustrated sigh, "Kids." He mumbled as he left the room.
