"C-can we, talk..?"

Sal nodded and walked up to you. You kind of looked around, avoiding eye contact. He looked confused for a second.

"(D/N) Are you alright..?" He questioned, putting his hand on your shoulder. You nodded and hesitated, taking out the red ball. He looked at it for a second before mumbling something to himself. He looked at you, worry in his eyes.

"Sal I had a vision and it told me to get a red ball... and..-" Sal interrupted you.

"Who was in the vision..?" He grabbed you by your shoulders and looked into your eyes.

"Grandpa Jim Jhonson... why..?" You asked, Sal let go. Wide eyed. He pulled his hair a little bit. He looked stressed, he had the red ball in his hands still. Mumbling things like 'shit' and 'oh god'. After about 5 minutes Sal looked at you. And walked up to you.

"(D/N)... I think I know why this is happening." Sal said. He looked into your (e/c) eyes, his blue ones filled with desperation and worry at the same time.

"What do you think is going on..?" You asked sheepishly. Sal was at artist to play with the ball in his hands. He looked up at you.

"Did your parents ever tell you about the red eyes..?" You thought for a second before nodding. Sal kind of sighed.

"Well, the red eyes has yet to infect everyone and everything..-"

"Everything except todd..?" You asked, sitting down on the deck stairs. Sal nodded, a little grimly. You could tell he missed Todd, Though he was trying to hide it.

"What about Todd and the red eyes...?" You asked again, sort of regretting it beacuse it only made Sal's body communication more rigid...and... sad.

"We need to get rid of the red eyes, though.. we don't know how.." He replied before sitting next to you, looking at his hands.

" 'We'..?" You quoted. Sal nodded,

"Your father and I"

"Oh." You looked around. At the trees in the backyard, the sound of birds chirping. The slightly yellow sky, the sun was starting to set. You smiled. Watching the yellow slowly turn into a deep orange. Sal wasn't saying much of anything. He was probably thinking.

If Todd was really infected like Dad and Sal had said... there was a way to get the beastly demon out. You just didn't know how yet. Sal stood up about an hour later, saying he was going to go to bed. And to 'not do anything stupid' you sighed, you checked your phone. No texts from Jay or Naomi.

You stood up and streched. Your feet had fallen asleep and you fell over, thinking you had stepped on a thing of needles. which turned out not to be true.

You spent the next 15 minutes attempting to wake your feet up. You were kicking the concrete on the side of the house. Getting your feet wet. Laying down, walking aroumd. Everything. You groaned and decided to just deal with it. You got off the grass and went inside.

"DAD WHAT'S FOR DINNER.?!?" You yelled loudly from the kitchen. He was in the living room down the hall, but since it wasn't an open floor plan you were pretty much in diffrent rooms.

"It's cereal night!" He yelled back, calmly and less loud. You nodded and walked over to the pantry. Grabbing some of Sal's Resse's Puffs and pouring them into a bowl with some milk before snickering evilly and running upstairs.

Your father didn't like you eating in your room, but he understood. You turned on some Shane Dawson and ate your cereal, drinking the milk when you finished. The puffs left a waxy taste on the top of your mouth. You forgot about that, it bugged you every time. You were up until about 10pm before snuggling into your bed, turning off your TV and falling asleep.

Todd stood Infront of you. He didn't look that bad. Though he had a beard, diffrent from the clean shaven male you saw in the family photos. He smiled and opened his arms. You slowly and cautiously hugged him. He chuckled softly.

"Save me, won't you..?" He whispered in your ear before dissapearing into dust.

You woke up. Tangled in your blankets. You guessed you had been tossing and turning because it was suprisingly hard to get out of. You checked the time. 7:00 am.

You had a half an hour to get ready for school. You couldnt get the dream out of your head. It was not scary, it was nice. But his words gave you chills down your spine,

"Save me, won't you..?" You wispered to yourself while putting your hair in a messy bun and putting slight mascara on. You sighed, you looked confident in your white tee and black joggers. It was a nice Tuesday.

You walked out of your room, bumping into someone immediately, falling onto your toosh, this guy was sturdy alright.

"Whoa there, kidd-io." A man with bright eyes and a dark complexion, dreads, and a green shirt, held out his hand.

"Oh, hey uncle Neil." You grabbed his hand and pulled yourself up. He smiled tiredly. He probably hasn't gotten very much sleep since Todd's been away.

"What-cha doing..?" You asked,

"I was actually about to wake you up for breakfast... But looks like your all ready, and awake." He shrugged,

"Heh, Cool, spending the days with dad and Sal..?" You bounced on your heel. Forgetting how hungry you were. Neil nodded, hearing your stomach growl. He laughed and got out of your way, letting you down the stairs. In which he followed. Your mom had a cup of coffee in her hand and was gesturing Neil a cup.

Sal was on the couch watching some kiddie show, Steven something... you couldn't remember. But you didn't care. Your dad said that Sal used to love horror movies, but now he couldn't stand them, which was understandable. He would either criticize the methods or just walk out. Usually to go hide in his room till the movie was over. It's not that it scared him, it just gave him bad memories.

You got your backpack, seeing Jay's Father's car pull up and drop him off, Jay looked diffrent. He had dyed his hair. His precious, natural, platen blonde hair... dyed a hideous shade of grey. It was a tungsten-ish color. You internally cringed.

You opened the door right as he was about to knock. He had his hand in the air and everything, he smooth recovered and patted your head like a dog. You grabbed your backpack and told everyone goodbye before leaving and grabbing a pop-tart.

"So, what do you think of the new color, (D/N)?" He asked, clearly humoring your distasteful look on your face.

"You look... okay, I guess." You said before pausing for a minute. You stopped walking and dug your hands in your backpack. You didn't know why you felt like you had just lost something.

You had your phone. Your homework. Your laptop. You stopped yourself before ripping through your backpack al, the way. Jay looked you, a little concered.

"You okay, (D/N)..?" He asked, placing a hand on your shoulder before you got up.

"Yeah, I think I forgot to do something or I forgot something at home." You shrugged, he looked at you for a moment before continuing to walk.

"Well, for starters... you forgot to repaint your nails black last night."
