Alex's P.O.V

I roll over, trying to catch some sleep.

It's no use.

I'm thinking about that Ashton boy. I don't know why, either.

I shouldn't have insulted his band like I did

To be honest, I actually enjoy his band.

I grab my phone off charge and check the time.

2:00am exactly.

I decide to text Mandy, Jasmine, and Kacey. I don't care if its two in the morning.

I know, for sure, Amanda is awake.

Once I send the messages, I light up a cigarette and puff smoke out my mouth.

I know, it'll kill me if I don't stop.

I know, trust me.

I get enough shit from my parents about it, I don't need it from anyone else.

My phone lights up with a message from Mandy.

hey, babe! meet me at the drugstore in ten. gotta get cigs. I love youuu!!

I lay my phone back down and get out of bed.

Considering it is two in the morning, I slip on some Pajama pants in place of my Pajama shorts.

I slide a jacket on over my tank top, and slide flip flops on.

I brush my hair out so it doesn't look too bad.

I grab my phone, once more, and tell Mandy I'm on my way.

The drugstore is only a few blocks away from my apartment, so it doesn't take me long to get there.

I beat Mandy here, and decide to sit on the bench.

The door to the drugstore opens up, and I find a familiar body walk across the parking lot.

"Ashton?" I call out, questioning.

He freezes right in his tracks and slowly faces me.

"Alex, hi."

"What're you doing at a drugstore at two in the morning?" I ask standing up.

Ashton makes his way, slowly, to me, saying,

"What are you doing at a drugstore at two in the morning?"

"Touché." I say smiling a bit.

"I'm actually here to meet Mandy, she needs cigarettes."

"At two..am?"

"Yep. She can't go a day without them." I light up another cigarette and put the lighter back in my pocket.

"Ya know, you should get some tattoos, though. They'd make you look tough." I say as we both sit down.

"I do have a tattoo, actually."

"Oh really? What of? A bunny rabbit?" I chuckle, sarcastically.

"No, actually,"Ashton pulls his sleeve up a bit past his right wrist.

"This is my first and only tattoo."

He shows his tattoo of five little lines on his wrist, like tally marks.

"Its in honour of the band, and the success we're making. I decided to get it. Ya know, everyone says if you get inked, make sure it means something to you, not a stupid thing. Well, I got our logo inked. It means everything to me. Without this band, I'd be nothing, honestly. I'd probably still be at home wishing to drum for them."

Ashton's eyes and smile lights up as he explains his tattoo and reasoning behind it.

"Though, I do want a check mark, like the NIKE symbol, on my foot."

"Why not get it, then?" I ask, setting my cigarette out.

"I don't know. I'll just stick with one, for right now."

Ashton looks up at me and smiles.

"I guess I should get back before it gets too late." He stands up and starts walking away, again.

"You need more. You should really try smoking. Its amazing." I shrug with a smirk.

"Goodnight, Alex."

"Goodnight, Ashton." I say.

It's been fifteen minutes, and Mandy isn't here yet.

Just as I'm about to call her, she turns the corner.

"Alexia! I'm sorry I'm late! I almost lost my money for these babies." Mandy says, running towards me.

"Damn, Mandy. Slow down." I say as she almost falls over.

"Sorry, sorry."

We enter the drugstore and, instead, head for the back of the store.

"So, I seen Ashton on my way. Did you finally get to give him a blow j-"

"Mandy! Ew! Disgusting!" I cover her mouth and tighten my eyes.

"I'd never do that."

"You did with Mason."

"Mandy, we were dating. Ashton and I, we'll never happen.Besides, Mason and I both wanted it. So, we let it happen." I shrug and smile as we make our way back to the front of the store.

"Believe me, I know. I heard. The fact he's my brother, and my twin, made it more disgusting. Ugh," Mandy pays for everything, including four packs of cigarettes.

"I was happy for you, though. You finally had the guts to sleep with my brother."

I ignore her statement and open the exit door for us.

"Alex, if you got the chance, would you like to get to know Ashton?" Amanda asks lighting up a cigarette and putting it in-between her lips.

"I don't know. I'd have to think about it."

"What if you had no time to think about it?"

I honestly don't know.

"Probably. He seems okay. Even if he isn't a bad boy like I want."

I can't tell her, 'of course I'd like to get to know him. he's fucking gorgeous!' She'd think I've went soft on her.

Of course, I do want to know Ashton

I just can't.
