Alex's P.O.V
*Six Months Later*
Almost a whole year without Ash.
Sleeping alone.
Crying.
It's not the same-nothing's the same without Ashton.
"Alex! Come on!" Kacey says, pulling me out of my apartment.
"Kacey, I don't feel like it. I don't feel like doing anything." I sigh and cover myself up.
"Seriously, Alexia. Get your lazy ass up," Jasmine says.
"Damn, alright." I slowly rise up, and drag my feet across the floor to my closet.
"Thank you. Better be dressed when we come back." Mandy says as she closes my bedroom door.
I sigh and pull clothes out of my closet and helplessly put them on.
I brush my hair, slightly, so that the curls are still visible.
"I'm ready." I say as I meet the others down in the living area.
"Yay!" Jasmine and Kacey take my arms and walk me out the door. Mandy, behind, closes it.
"What is this for, guys? Its.." I check the time, "noon. Too early to do shit."
"Would you please stop complaining?" They each say.
"Whatever," I mumble. "Where are we even going? We've been walking for hours."
"Uh, honey, we've been standing outside your apartment for three minutes." Kacey says.
"Same thing. Look, I'm tired, and missing Ashton."
"And you think we don't miss the others, as well? Alex, you've got to do something productive. Please, for Ash?" Jas says with a hopeful smile.
"Fine. Whatever." I exhale and wait for them to share what we're doing today. "What are we doing today?"
Without word, I get ushered to the car. We each take seats, Jasmine driving.
"Guys, where the hell are we going?" I ask squirming around in my seat
"Damn, Alex. You're like my niece and nephew. If you could just wait," Mandy says from the front seat.
I exhale loudly with the roll of my eyes.
It's something I've been doing a while now.
Minutes later, I see the airport sign.
"Im not going on a six month vacation. I have nothing packed, and I'm not in the mood." I scoff and lean against the door.
"Alex," the car comes to a stop, "just come on." Kacey opens the door and waits for me.
I groan and open the door.
We each walk to the airplane exits, as if we're waiting.
Minutes later, four familiar faces come off the plane.
My heart stops.
Time is frozen.
Time is still.
"Oh my God, Ashton!" I run full speed and jump in his arms.
"Alex!" Ashton drops his suitcases and holds me close. "Oh, how I've missed you!"
I cry through a smile and bury my face in the bend of his neck.
"I love you so much." Ashton and I both cry through smiles.
This is what I've been waiting for.
Through the tears.
I've never been happier in my life.

im sad but then again, I want more people to notice it.
