LOST - Jungkook & Dahyun

C H A P T E R 32

Dahyun stared at the window, she closed her eyes when the sun shines. She's lying on her bed, she decided to go out of the house. She walked going to her shop, she stared at it. Words written on the walls and door increased, eggs and tomatoes are scattered around. She even smelled crap outside, she slowly walked and opened the door. She took a deep breath and leaned on the door.

She went to the restroom and get a hose. She connected it on the faucet to run the water, she splashed the water outside the shop and brushed the wall and door. While looking at the vandalized wall, she controlled herself from crying, she tried her best to remove the spray paint. She put news papers on the wall to cover it.

"I'm tired, I'm giving up. I don't want to hurt people." She said while looking at the covered shop.

She finished cleaning and left the shop. Dahyun went home and laid down on the couch. She stared at the ceiling.

*Ring! Ring! Ring!*

She looked at it, it's Jungkook.

"Hello?"

"Dahyun! Your phone is not ringing for two days! What happened?"

"Well, I-I misplaced my phone..." She answered hoping that Jungkook will believe her.

"We are back now. Where are you?"

"Uhm, at work. Sorry I was also busy, I gotta go now. Bye." She hang up and closed her eyes.

"What was that?" Jungkook looked at his phone.

"What's wrong?" Jimin asked him.

"Dahyun answered the call, at last. But she's busy." Jungkook answered.

"Wait, then where is she?"

"At the shop, maybe. She said she's busy at work. I'm leaving, hyung tell them I'm out, okay?"

"Yeah, okay..."

Jungkook borrowed Jin's car and left. He looked at Dahyun's shop.

"What happened here? Is she closing?" He tried to call her but she is not answering.

He stopped the car and went out. He knocked on the door, it is open.

"Dahyun?" He looked around, It's empty. A broken guitar was left. He ran to her office but it's also empty, woods and dusts are scattered around. "Sh-t." He tried to call her again, he's walking back and forth. "Answer the phone, please, please." He said.

He went outside and noticed that a newspaper fell from the wall, he removed the newspapers and read what is written to it.

Jungkook came back to the car and drove fast going to Dahyun's house.

He pressed the doorbell three times but no one is coming out.

"Dahyun! Are you there?!" He shouted.

He grabbed the railings of the gate. He looked up, he climbed on the gate.

"Kim Dahyun!" He yelled and ran to knock on the door.

He noticed that the door it open.

"Dahyun?" He entered and looked around, he searched everywhere to find Dahyun.

She's lying outside, she's at the garden. Jungkook looked around, plants are withered.

"Ya! Kim Dahyun, where have you been??? I've been calling you! I went to your shop, what happened?" He asked.

"The sun is beautiful... Isn't it?" She asked, her voice is cracked. Jungkook held her shoulders. Dahyun sat down, Jungkook hugged her.

"I'm so worried, are you okay? What happened? You're closing the shop?"

Dahyun hugged him back.

"Can we stay like this for a while?" She asked. Jungkook hugged her tight.

"Are you okay?" She nodded. Jungkook cupped her cheeks. "I saw your shop, you said you were there."

"How did you get here? The gate is locked."

"I climbed up, I'm pressing the doorbell. I saw the door is open. Dahyun, I'm sorry."

"Why? Why are you saying sorry?" She asked.

"This will not happened if It's not because of me."

"It's not your fault." She smiled.

"I know you're mono eyelid but it's obvious that you cried."

"No, I didn't." She said.

"Really? I know you're lying, I know you Dahyun."

Dahyun avoided looking at Jungkook.

"Look at me." He said, She stood up and went inside, Jungkook followed her. "Dahyun." She stopped.

"Hmm? Aren't you going now? Namjoon sunbaenim will get mad again because of me." She said.

"No, they are planning to have a vacation."

"Go with them, It's your chance to relax, vacation is fun."

Jungkook went in front of her, she's crying.

"Hey." She covered her face.

"Dahyun, you didn't kill anyone." He said and tried to remove Dahyun's hands from her face.

"Stop it JK." She said. Jungkook hugged her, she sobbed.

"Don't cry, I'm really sorry."

"I'm just crying because I missed you."

"Now I know you are not lying." Jungkook chuckled.

"I'm okay now, JK. Tell me if you have to go." She said.

"Are you closing the shop?"

"No, I'm transferring."

"Where?"

"I don't know yet."

"I'll help you find a new place." Jungkook smiled.

"Have you eaten?" Dahyun asked, Jungkook wiped her tears.

"Yep, I ate at the plane. Others are preparing for their vacation."

"Their vacation? You're not coming?"

"No, we have two weeks of vacation."

"Then you are not coming with them?"

"Uhm, I don't know."

"What do you mean, you don't know? You should have fun."

"I'm okay staying here."

"Here? It's boring."

Jungkook stopped and looked at her.

"Wait..."

After two days Jungkook forced Dahyun to go on a vacation with them at Jeju Island.

"Hey! I'm staying!" Dahyun yelled. Jungkook carried Dahyun's bag and pulled her to the plane.

"Oh, Kim Dahyun!" Namjoon yelled.

Jimin is reading a magazine and turned around.

"Oh, Dahyun. You're here." He stood up.

"Ye, annyeonghaseyo." Dahyun bowed.

"Oh, I thought you are staying here?" Hoseok asked while he is putting his bag beside the seat.

"Oho, he's not supposed to be coming but Dahyun is with him." Jin clapped.

"Ya, ya. They are having their date, let's go out." Namjoon said, they followed him except for Jimin.

"Ya, ya! Hyungs stop it." Jungkook said. They all laughed and went back to the plane. "Stop the teasing."They all sat down, Jungkook is seating beside Jimin and facing Taehyung and Dahyun.
