Namjoon's POV
"How could my own father do that to me?" Jungkook sits on the sofa opposite me, a towel wrapped around his shivering body.
"My whole life's just gone to shit Namjoon." He explains, as I sit in front of him, stuck on what to say.
"I can't face him ever again, but I can't stay here with Yoongi either."
"Yes you can Jungkook, you know what he's like, he'll apologise." I explain calmly.
"But what if he doesn't? What if he hates me? What if he never accepts Camille? What if-" He's cut off by my fast words.
"Jungkook, you're spiraling, calm down."
He takes a few deep breaths, still shivering.
"I'm sorry Namjoon." I nod to his apology, and we sit silently, appart from the tiny chattering of jungkook's teeth.
"Your sister, is the only thing that is keeping me going right now. And quite honestly Namjoon, without her, I don't know what I'd do." His words are full of passion and I cannot help but tense up in my seat.
"I think you should go and put some other clothes on, your nose is turning blue." He then begins to shake more than he already was as he touches his nose.
"Shit, I didn't even realise." He explains as he stumbles off.
Once he's gone I'm able to sigh, but I quickly hold in another breath as I remember the conversation I overheard a few days ago...

"Where's Camille? Ally's upset." Taehyung asks me.
"I think she went in the kitchen, hold on." I reply.
I walk towards the kitchen door, hearing the voices of my sister and my father on the other side. I'm about to open the door until I hear my sister speak.
"it's about school."
The kitchen goes silent and I begin to question everything. I begin to think of the worst, is my sister getting bullied?
"My teacher offered me a place to study abroad in America." The sentence rings in my head.
I step back from the door, shocked at the words I have overheard.

My heart drops as I remember it. She has only been a part of my family for a few months. But when I think about her travelling halfway across the world for god knows how long, it sends unwanted shivers up my spine.
But she couldn't possibly leave Jungkook now, could she?

Helloooo!
A crazy amount of time has gone by since I last posted a chapter of this story. And I'm so sorry it took me so long. I can't promise that I I'll be bale to update regularly as I am going back to boarding school very soon. But I couldn't leave this book unfinished.
This just proves that books do come back from the deaf on whatpadd sometimes 😂.
I hope you've all had a great holiday and I hope you are doing well.
