"EMILY ANDERSON!"
The boy took off down the hallway after his best friend, who zig zagged through confused teenagers, stern teachers, and obstacles in the hallway. She finally came to a halt at a dead end hallway, and turned to see the boy there, an angry look plastered on his face.
"Sorry?" Emily tried, hopefully.
"Give. Me. It. NOW," the boy growled.
"Let's be calm, Gordy. Nothing to be upset about!" Emily laughed to try and brighten the situation, but it faltered quickly as she eyed his dangerous expression.
He slowly stalked right up to her, until her back was pressed against the cold wall. He grabbed the plastic bag in her hand, and shoved it into his hoodie pocket. Gordy leaned into her hear and whispered, "Never. Take. My. Peanutbutter. Sandwiches."
Emily giggled and lightly nudged Gordy off of her, and they both chuckled sweetly amongst themselves as Gordy munched on his sandwich. "Oh, Gordy! You're too sweet! This is why we're best friends!"
Emily pulled Gordy's stuffed face in for a headlock and noogied his hair, and he choked slightly on the food in his mouth. "Emily! I'm choking! Stop!"
"Oh please. You've choked on Bryce's dick more than this. Take it like a man!" Emily ordered.
Gordy slid out of her headlock and cat slapped her in the arm. "He doesn't love meeeee," Gordy whined dramatically, letting his head drop into Emily's shoulder. "Make him love me."
Emily shrugged and popped him off of her. "Sorry! No can do!"
Gordy huffed out a breath of anger, saddened that his bestie could make the hottest guy in school love him. Gordy was a closeted gay guy, and had been harboring a crush on Bryce ever since they had talked in sixth grade. "Sigh. I guess I'll just live the forever alone life."
"Oh, shut up. You could attract any guy in school, but you go for the straightest of them all and expect him to love you. Uh, newsflash, kiddo. He won't."
"Thanks for putting that ever so sweetly, Emmy."
But he knew she was right. Straight guys just physically and emotionally couldn't fall for other guys, no matter how hard they tried. Just like straight girls couldn't fall for other girls. Or gays can't fall for the oppostite sex. Life was just crazy like that, right?
"So, how're things with Fay going?" Gordy nudged Emily lightly in the shoulder. Emily was, like Gordy, gay, and liked a girl named Fay. She was the sexiest piece of woman alive, and left gay guys and straight girls in awe. Her hips were perfectly curved to give her an hourglass figure, her light blonde hair fell over her shoulders delicately, and her beautiful flash of a smile could stun anyone, even in the darkest light. Nobody knew if she was gay or straight, because she was extremely quiet. But, Emily's been trying to break her walls. NOT PHYSICALLY. METAPHORICALLY.
"I have no clue. I can't tell if she's into girls or if she wants the D." Emily on the other hand had shorter dirty blonde hair that reached shoulder length, brown eyes, and was relatively tall. She had a pretty smile, but Emily could never compete with Fay and her gorgeousness. No girl really could. It's like a gazelle trying to hunt a lion. It just didn't happen.
"Well, I bet you'll find out tonight. Get some," Gordy nudged her softly, causing a slight blush from Emily. She nudged him back, hard. He toppled over, but was caught in some warm, embracing arms. As he opened his eyes, he saw a gorgeous face bestowed upon him. Bryce Collins was holding Gordy sweetly in his muscly arms, and smiling brightly down upon Gordy's flustered face.
"Careful, little guy," Bryce giggled, still holding Gordy in his arms. "Falling for me, I see?"
Gordy was speechless. One, because he had no idea how true that statement was. Two, because Bryce hadn't let go yet.
