The Affair

"What!?"
The waiter returned with our water and I drank it in one gulp. Slamming the cup on the table, I began to laugh. "You're joking. Right?"
This was funny. How could I have sex with a random stranger.

He regarded me with this daunting sincerity. His eyes were huge and honey brown and as he looked at me I knew he saw my soul and I wondered what it looked like. Silence. He was just silent. I longed to slap him, bite him, throw water on him, do whatever just so he could tell me it wasn't true. It couldn't be true.
My life was to perfect to be ruined by a one night stand with a peculiarly looking Asian man

"Talk to me!" I shrieked and everyone looked at me. I gestures apologies to them then whispered through my teeth. "What do you mean,we had sex. When? How? Where? Why would you have sex with a drunk woman. Isn't that against the fucking law?" I was desperate. I needed answers. I ran my hands through my hair, separating my tiny twist outs into even more tinier twist outs. I was loosing patience and if he didn't speak soon I was about to do something we would both regret.

I reached for my phone and Clarence grabbed my hand. "Don't" he said. His eyes wide and alarmed, Filled with a beckoning child like fear. It intrigued me. I needed to know so I stopped.
"Tell me" I firmly demanded. He nodded and slowly he began to tell me.

I didn't know how to react. My heart thumped against my rib cage, my heard throbbed and my mind was a whirlwind. Clarence was nervously looking at me waiting for a response but I didn't have one. How do you react to a stranger telling you they had sex with you. Unbelievable

"I know it probably wasn't meant to happen and I apologise but I do think your fascinating and I would like to get to know you if you don't mind" He ended and got up, leaving his bill on the table. He turned and headed over to the door and I watched him go, my eyes fixated on the broadness of his wide back.

I sat there heaving, unsure of what to do and then it came over me. I don't know what it was but I found myself running outside, frantically searching for him.

"Don't go" I cried out when I reached him.

This chapter boring as fuck y'all but thanks for reading. Not sure how the few next chapters will be but it's gonna be packed with drama and tons of plot twists. x
