Like I said, I knew my life wasn't going to be the same and I had the feeling that I was going to find out as to what was it that was going to change. Our conversations became pretty regular though the topics were quite random, but yes, they were constant and she let me walk her back to her hostel every day I couldn't ask for more, so I'd walk her back, give her a hug and kiss her on the cheek, after which I watch her walk into the hostel, I didn't move till she went in.
Now one day, my language teacher decides to take an extra class after lunch and she didn't have class after lunch...damn that hurts. Anyhow, she only had class till 1. So I walked her back to the hostel, hugged and kissed her, on this particular day she tucked into the hug. It felt real good, after that I went back to class, attended it and I was seconds away from falling asleep, I really never liked the idea of having class after lunch.
After class, I hung around and was talking to my friend from English class (she isn't in the same class as I am, but language classes are combined for combinations) and as we spoke, she suddenly goes like;" What is that stain that's on your shirt", what needs to be noted was that I was wearing a light blue shirt. She reached for my collar and showed me a stain, dark purple in color. The first thought that crossed my mind was that it was ketchup and that's what I said. But she said;"Dude, I'm a girl and I know a lipstick stain when I see one, who did that!?" I was blank for a good 20 seconds and then it hit me...ALINA...
I go home and we started texting, after a while I told her about the stain, while I was laughing at it, her response caught me off guard. She said that she didn't want to meet me again because she didn't want to hurt me. I was stunned; the response took me a back. I tried to talk to her and try and figure out what the problem is, but all she kept saying was that she didn't want me to get hurt. I told her to meet me tomorrow, she said no, but I eventually managed to convince her.
The next day, I was in college, I text her during class saying that I'll meet her during lunch time, again she said no, but I insisted. She said fine, so after class, I wait outside the block, but she doesn't show up, I texted her, she said she was at the hostel and then she didn't want to see me. Adrenaline kicked in, I made my way to her hostel and called her. I told her that I'm not leaving till she came out and spoke to, she kept pleading and asking me to leave, but I was adamant that I wasn't moving till she spoke to me.
She did come out; she hugged me, and asked me to walk with her. We went around a bit and sat by a ground and she asked me why I did that; and I said " I'm not willing to let you push me away", she asked me "why, you've only known me for a month"; I didn't say anything because I knew that she knew the answer to that question. I told her that too and I told her that I'm not letting her push me away.
We sat there. She was holding my hand, with her head tucked away on my shoulder.........she still said, don't get too attached to me, I don't want to hurt you...and I told her that it doesn't matter and I'm not leaving her....
