Chapter 17

Original POV-
Shawn just told me he loved me. Maybe it isn't a good time to tell him that I got a marriage proposal. I love Shawn so much and he's the one I want to be with. I hugged Shawn and we just cuddled for the rest of the day, until he had to go home. Around 7, Shawn snuck out the window and went home. "I'll see you tomorrow Kyanna" he said as he kissed my forehead. "Bye Shawn" I started doing my homework even though I didn't have much because it's spring break. Tomorrow Shawn and I are going to Disney. I'll probably have to tell my parents that I'm going to sea world with a couple of friends so they won't show up at Disney and bust me and Shawn. I started picking out my outfit. It was a red crop top and blue denim shorts with air force ones. I decided to put my long black hair into two Dutch braids. I'm going to wear light makeup, probably some concealer, bronzer and mascara. Shawn likes it when I wear less makeup! It's around 11:00 pm
and I decided to go to bed so I won't be tired tomorrow.
8:30 am
I wake up, I pack my bags with snacks and drinks and I start getting ready. I get a text from Shawn, he was saying good morning and how excited he was for our date. I smiled at this and proceed to get ready.
9:30 am
Shawn texted me saying he was here and that he parked a block away so my parents wouldn't see. I drove down the block and parked behind a tree. That's when I saw Shawn. I ran and he embraced me in his arms.
"Are you ready" Shawn said.
"I am," I said while smiling.
I walked into the passenger seat, and he plugged in the Aux cord. He said, I wrote a song for you. "Oh really" I exclaimed. I listened to this song and it was a beautiful melody with heartfelt lyrics. But, the guilt of the arranged marriage racked my brain. What was gonna happen, When the day finally came, and I had to marry Joshua. Shawn said the name of the song is 'Kid in love' and he said he wrote it about me.

We finally arrived at Disney. We got the tickets, I offered to pay but he insisted that he would.
We decided on Animal kingdom, because I've never been there before. We walked to it's tough to be a big ride. Shawn advises against it, but I insisted. It looked fun and Bug's Life was one my favorite movie when I was younger. After the "ride" we laughed uncontrollably because we were the only 20 year olds there. Watching the performance made me realized how much I liked the Bug's Life movie. Shawn wanted to go on a ride called Dinosaur. I had fun even though it was scary for a second.

We walked holding hands and every now and then he kissed my forehead. We entered a air conditioned restaurant and sat down in a booth. The server came over and she said , "my name is Jacquelin, and I'll be taking be caring you guys today".  Jacquelin came over after 15 minutes with the food in hand. Shawn ordered a cheeseburger and a strawberry milkshake. I ordered the same but we shared the milkshake. We laughed the whole time and It felt good to remember howw happy Shawn made me.

Shawn and I finished lunch and started making our way to the DINOSAUR ride. I saw a man who looked familiar waiting in line ahead of us and to my surprise I saw Grayson Dolan. He was with a girl, I think her names Alaina but I'm not sure. She has dark brown hair and dark brown, almost black eyes. They've been dating for awhile and so recognized her from Instagram. I was internally panicking because I've been following Grayson for a long time, but I wasn't sure if I should go say hi. I tapped Shawn on the shoulder, "Shawn, there's Grayson Dolan." I whispered. "The youtuber?" He asked. "yeah, I used to be obsessed with
him and Ethan, should I go say hi?"
"maybe after the ride, baby" he told me with hints of jealously in his voice.  We waited in line for an hour due to how popular it was.

So we finally got off the ride and it was honestly pretty fun, especially when Shawn screamed like a little girl when we saw the big T-Rex. I saw Grayson and Alaina when we got off the ride and we went up to them. "Hey Grayson, my names Kyanna. I love your videos, they're so funny haha" "Hey kyanna! Thanks for supporting us, Ethan and I love you" I smiled a little and then Grayson looked at Shawn. "You're Shawn Mendes right?" Grayson asked. I was kinda shocked that Grayson knew him. "Yeah" "yeah you're apart of magcon with Cameron Dallas" Grayson said. CAMERON DALLAS?? how does Shawn know these people?! We met Grayson then left to go get on other rides. I wanted Shawn to tell me more about his secret or whatever he wanted to call it. A little while later, a girl walked up to Shawn... "OH MY GOD ITS SHAWM MENDES" she ran up to him and he looked at me and shrugged again...
