Seeing Bellamy trying to go to Daenerys again, he shot next to her making Bellamy, and Octavia, panic too. He moved away from the girl.
"That's good. Then do what I say." Murphy told Bellamy to tie two belts together and make a noose.
Octavia's voice came through the walkie-talkie "Bellamy? Bellamy! Are you ok?"
"You want her to know you're alive? Start tying." But he didn't move.
"John, come on. It doesn't have to be like that."
"I'm not warning you anymore. Shut up."
Daenerys was completely shocked by the way Murphy talked to her. Bellamy started tying and Octavia's voice reached their ears again.
"Bellamy! Do you copy?"
"I'm fine. Just a misfire. Now stop worrying about me and get back to work, all of you... And tell Raven to hurry her ass up." He glanced rapidly Daenerys's way.
"All right, that's long enough. Tie those two ends together."
"All right. Now get up and toss it over." Murphy instructed.
"What do you want me to say? You want me to apologize? I'm... I'm sorry." Daenerys felt so bad for him. He didn't deserve that. She stood against the wall, holding painfully her injured leg.
"You got it all wrong, Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt, and then... Then I want you to die." She was not gonna let that happen.
"Stand on it. Put it over your head."
"This is insane. The grounders could..." Murphy shot again.
"No." Octavia uttered.
"We need to do this now." Jasper told Raven.
"I'm working as fast as I can. The wires for the door are mixed in with the ignition system. Sparking the wrong one would be bad."
"Put it over your head." Murphy continued.
"Happy now?" Bellamy asked anxiously.
"You're so brave, aren't you? I mean, you came in here thinking you're just gonna turn this whole thing around, that you were stronger than me, and maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Well, what are you thinking now, Bellamy? Hmm?"
Murphy pulled the rope making Bellamy choke.
"John stop! STOP IT NOW! Please!!!!!" She pleaded. If only she could help. She didn't exactly know why but she was ready to do whatever it took to help Bellamy, except kill John...
"You know, I got to hand it to you, Bellamy. You got 'em all fooled. They actually look up to you, almost as much as they look up to Clarke. Yeah, well, we know the truth, don't we? You're a coward. I learned that the day you kicked out the crate from beneath me." Murphy was distracted. Daenerys jumped on him and threw him on the floor. But he pressed on her wound and hit her in the face, busting her lip. Bellamy was trying hard to free himself.
But Murphy got up, avoiding any eye contact with Daenerys who was gasping on the floor. "Isn't that what you said? That you were just giving the people what they wanted, right?"
"I should have stopped them." Bellamy said with a hoarse voice.
"Yeah, it's a little late for that now."
"You think they're just gonna let you walk out of here?" Bellamy asked the criminal.
"Well, I think the princess is dead... but I know the king's about to die, so who's really gonna lead these people, huh? Me, that's who, and, yeah, maybe I'll have to kill her and your grounder-pounding little sister..."
Bellamy tried to kick him but failed. "Yeah I cared for her, but you stole her from me. She's too much like you. I would've died for her. But you took her from me!" Bellamy and Daenerys could sense the frustration and the pain in those words. "Well now the grounders are taking her away from you. And your sister is following in her grounder footsteps. " from beneath them, someone screamed.
"I'm guessing that's her right now."
Murphy aimed the weapon at the floor and shot until the gun clicked.
"No!" Both Bellamy and Daenerys shouted in panic.
Murphy pushed the stool that was under Bellamy's feet.
"No!" Daenerys wanted to go his way, but the door began to open. Murphy, knife in hand rushed for the ladder, and Daenerys tried to stop him, only to be thrown away, against the wall. She got back up, struggling at little, and watched in relief Octavia and Jasper help Bellamy.
Miller came in and saw her almost hiding. He kicked her to the floor and was beating her up, thinking she had helped Murphy. Bellamy struggled to her.
"Stop!" He said with a broken voice. "She tried to stop him."
Miller was confused, everyone knew that Murphy and Daenerys were close, anyways, Octavia took care of helping Daenerys up.
"Murphy! Murphy it's over! " Bellamy managed to say louder. "Murphy! There's only one way out of this for you now!"
"You want to bet?" Murphy's voice came through, it hurt Daenerys a great deal, but she had to move on.
An explosion was heard from above, throwing everyone all over the place. Daenerys landed on Bellamy, but quickly yet painfully moved away. They grunted and Bellamy shouted again Murphy's name without response.
"The guy knows how to make an exit. Should we go after him?"
"No. Grounders will take care of Murphy. We're going after Clarke, Finn, and Monty. You and Raven were right. We don't abandon our own. Two guns... you and me. That's it."
"Bellamy, I'd like to come too." Daenerys asked, pushing away all thoughts of Murphy.
"No." He said softly. "You've had enough for one day. I'm not letting you die. Octavia will take care of you until Clarke comes. Raven stays here to build up defenses. We lost a day because of this, and our gunpowder."
"Raven!" Bellamy called out.
"Bellamy, wait. Look, I just... Thank you." Jasper managed to say before hugging Bellamy who was surprised by the move. Long way from "whatever the hell you want."" He added.
They man-hugged and headed outside.
Miller's voice came through (on walkie-talkie) "All gunners! We got movement outside the south wall!
Someone's coming! Get ready! Stay together!"Silence fell in camp until Miller shouted. "Wait! Hold your fire! Clarke and Finn! Open the gate! Get in!"
"Get the gate! Move it! Move it!" A guy shouted.
"Clarke and Finn! They're back!" Someone shouted.
"Hey, we heard an explosion. What happened?" Clarke asked.
"Murphy happened." Bellamy answered. "But, Daenerys got shot. Could you help, please?"Clarke nodded, and Jasper rushed to her.
"Thank God! Where have you been? Where's Monty?"
"Monty's gone?"
"Clarke, we need to leave, now. All of us do. There's an army of grounders, unlike anything we've ever seen, coming for us right now. We need to pack what we can and run." Finn said loud enough for people to hear.
"Like hell we do. We knew this was coming." Bellamy defended.
"Bell, we're not prepared. Clarke, Daenerys needs you." Octavia told them.
Clarke and Bellamy started a speech battle that Clarke won. While everyone was getting ready, Clarke took care of Daenerys, and walked back out. She had explained to Daenerys what had happened. They were leaving. Well she knew she wasn't. She had no wish to leave. She looked the way Murphy had left but her eyes then moved like magnets to the other person not far, that young man that had kept her from helping Murphy, the one that she had been unable to watch die.
