Very short summary, so sorry.

There was no denying the fact Steve was a miserable man. Being with Bucky was like having the whole world. But losing Tony, was like losing more then the world. Steve loves Tony, Steve still wasn't over Tony, but he had bucky now.

But Bucky wasn't enough.

It was like Steve was tore between two worlds, he had to choose one. He did choose one, but it was the wrong one. He made a huge mistake he knew it too.

Bucky was also aware Steve still had feelings for Tony. Steve always had nightmares. Mostly about losing Bucky. But lately, he would wake up screaming tonys name pathetically.

He missed him like an abandoned dog missed its mom. He felt lost with out him. Bucky was supposed to show him the way, be his light in life. But that light was put out along time ago, and the only person capable of relighting that light was Tony.

Tony was also miserable, he missed Steve also. After the incident at the compound, Tony took to keeping his work in his lab at home. He couldn't bare to see Steve again it hurt to much.

After Tony called steve, he deleted his contact. He didn't want any association with him. He didn't need to be in contact with him.

That was until Steve was needed.

It wasn't Tonys choice it was Bruce's. Bruce called in captain Rogers. He had to, they needed his help.

Steve showed up, with Bucky-he insisted he came, and that he was ok to fight- Bucky knew about Steve and Tony, but he wasn't worried. He knew Steve loved him.

He should have been worried.

Because once Steve's eyes met tonys when he walked into the room he lost it, it couldn't help it. It was the first time he had seen Tony in a long while. He still looked as handsome as ever. His brown hair was cut shorter then the last time Steve had seen it. He was dressed in a black tank top (who doesn't love tank top tony?) And black sweats.

It was easier to fight in his suits when he didn't have jeans on.

Steve looked at him sadly, suddenly he forgot how to speak. He couldn't breath he couldn't walk, he couldn't do anything but think about the broken look, and tears on tonys face when he left.

He hated himself.

He hated everything.

He hated existing.

"Captian, you ok?"

Steve gulped as his gaze broke away from Tony and landed on fury who was looking at him with a concerned look.

"I-i can't do this." Steve said quickly before turning around and rushing toward the door. Running into bucky, who he forgot was behind him, stoped him.

Bucky caught him and Steve fell into his embrace, hugging Bucky tight like it was the last time he was ever gonna hold him again.

"It's ok punk, I understand." Bucky said reassuring Steve.

Everyone else was confused except Tony, who was watching Steve with wide eyes. Yeah it hurt that Steve was hugging Bucky so tightly in front of Tony, but Tony knew that he was getting Steve back.

There wasnt no denying that if Steve wanted Tony back, tony would take him. He wanted him back and he wasn't afraid to admit it.

"I'm so sorry buck, I can't-he-"

"Shhh, come on we'll go talk it out." Bucky said, but he knew, Steve didn't want him anymore. And he was ok with it.

He knew Steve fell out if love him the day he fell off the ship. Steve always wanted Tony more, he was just excited that Bucky was back and he thought he wanted something when he didn't.

Steve and Bucky go out into the halls and no one questioned it. They didn't wanna be in the drama. Who could blame them?

"Listen Steve, it's okay. You don't have to be so upset about it" Bucky chuckled a bit. "Pal, he wants you and you want him. Don't deny it. Go to him I'll be fine." Bucky tells him, and he was telling the truth, he loved Steve, yeah, but he wanted him to be happy and that wasn't with Bucky.

"But buck-" Steve began,to protest but Bucky stoped him.

"Go!" He said sternly, before kissing Steve one last time and turning around and walking away, and Steve didn't stop him, Bucky didnt want him to. He could read Steve like a book and he knew exactly what he wanted, and that was Tony.

Steve took a few seconds to get himself together before walking back into the room to face tony. Their eyes immediately met, and Steve did a small nod of his head to motion for Tony to follow him. Tony got up and followed him outside.

As soon as they were outside Steve started talking. And Tony listened.

"Look tony, I am so so sorry, I'm a selfish man who left an amazing guy. Truth is I didn't want bucky, I just wanted to know that I could still have him, and you can hate me for it I wouldn't be surprised if you do, I deserve it. I did a horrible thing to you and I'm sorry, but I love you Tony, I really do. The past few months have been hell for me, even with Bucky. I couldn't stop thinking about you I had nightmares about losing you over and over again. I'm just really sorry." Steve gushed trying his best not to sound too pathetic.

He was actually surprised when Tony followed him outside. He didn't know what to say really so he just started tell him everything. He could have kept it short, he didn't have to tell Tony about the nightmares, but he did, because when You love someone you open up your heart, you tell then everything.

"It's okay steve..." Tony says staring down at his shoes.

"So do, do you forgive me?" Steve asks and Tony lets out a small chukcle.

"Yeah." He says and the breath Steve didn't know He was holding in leaves his lungs.

"So can I take you to diner, and we can talk about this." Steve says and Tony nods.

"Yeah, but before we go lets go make sure we Finnish this mission." Tony says reaching out and taking Steve's hand like old times.

"I finished my mission." Steve whispers looking at his and tonys intertwined fingers.

From that day forward, Steve was Tonys and Tony was Steve's. Steve was still best friends with Bucky and would visit him regularly.

Bucky was fine after the breakup, he ended up finding another guy, his name was SAM WILSON, and they had been dating for about three months. Steve was happy for Bucky and Bucky was happy for Steve.

Ok so this isn't as good as I wanted it to be, but I tried.

I felt like updating for some reason....
