Summary- Steve was always a poor child, hardly ever having money, having to spend it all on medicine for his sick and feeble body. So when he became Captian America he thought nothing would change. When the fun was over, and the earth was safe, he ended up at a job earning minimum wage, and living paycheck to paycheck. Untill a man came by, allowing him to come into his life and company, giving him a job, a bed to sleep in, and love he thought Steve deserved, but maybe he was wrong.

Steve was a poor man, there was no dought about it. Working a halftime job at a convenience store, earning a whole total if $7.30 an hour. He had no money to spend on himself, except to get groceries, and maybe catch a film every now and then, if he didn't eat alot the prior week. He could safe enough to treat himself, which was rare when he lived in an old worn down apartment, that always needed fixing up.

Plus he only worked the nightshift, which was a total of five hours for six days a week. And nobody tipped convenience store workers these days, well except for Mrs. Weebly, who would always pitch in a extra five dollars, but she rarely came in.

But Steve had been working the job for two years now, and he was getting along perfectly ok...

Untill someone came in, offering him a job of a life time...

It was a normal day, he had just clocked in and had been sitting there on his little stool, for a whole total of twelve minutes. When he heard the bell ring he put his phone down, glancing up to see who came in.

It was a man, in a..suit.

He looked no where over the age of 40, and he was kinda handsome...ok He was really handsome.

He had on a pair of red glasses with thick dark black frames around them. His beard was in a weird design, he had a mustache that was connected to his beard with two triangles that came up by both sides of his chin. It made him look ten times hotter though, and Steve wasn't about to complain.

The man picked up a snickers bar, examining it, then looking at it approvingly. He through it up into the air, flipping it and catching it before making his way up to the counter.

Steve put on his best smile, making sure to look the man in the eyes. "Will that be all?" He cussed at him self silently, when he voice came out weak and raspy.

"Yes that'll be all..." the man said smiling, and oh god! Was that smile beautiful. Steve had to fight the urge of melting into a puddle.

He scanned the candy bar, handing it back to the man. He cleared his throat before speaking, "Your total is, $1.23."

The man layed the candy bar down, pulled out his wallet and handed Steve a five. He grabbed the candy bar, looked Steve right in the eyes- causing him to blush for some reason- and spoke "keep the change."

And that was it, he was gone.

And Steve was only semi thankfull.

The next day Steve was working the night shift, as usual. When a black car pulled into the parking lot. Now Steve wasn't a genius when it came to cars, but he knew an expensive one when he saw one. And the one in the parking lot, must gave cost a fortune.

He watched as the door open and out stepped a man, in a suit. It didn't take Steve long to realise it was the man that came by the day before. Steve cleared his throat before the man even came into the door, his palms got instantly sweaty, and his face heated up. He really needed to get himself together.
