When we got back to Their house Felicity walked me home and decided to stay for a little bit.

Currently we are in my room and she is giving me her honest feedback about my vibes and aesthetics.

"I think you rep more with pastel tones and they fit your style. We'll have to go shopping in a few days and get you some clothes that fit what we're going for." She said while looking out my window.

"Sounds great Felicity, I'm gonna trust that whenever we hang out you'll take me on some kind of adventure I'll end up enjoying."

"Oh for sure... Hey ya know your bedroom window faces my house, you can see directly into my brothers room." She had her head halfway out the window but I heard exactly what she said.

"What!" I got up from my side of the bed and rushed over next to her. She was right. I had the straight across view right into Mickey's bedroom.

That's um, inconvenient. I quickly pulled her back in, shut the window, and closed the curtains. For privacy purposes.

"Geez calm down, as long as you're no peepin Tom. I don't think it matters that much." She said giving me a look in which I can only describe as that knowing smirk shes been giving me.

"Yea it doesn't matter, I just think I wanna keep it closed right now... anyway! Back to what you were saying." I tried to put the focus back onto our previous conversation.

"Oh yea. So in a couple of days. We'll go shopping all around the town. I already can tell we have practically the same taste in clothing so it should be easy."

"Great! Can't wait." I said in a genuine voice.

Just then, my phone dinged. I retrieved it from the bed and took a seat, Felicity joining me.

The text read

Having such a grand time on our side of the world! Hope you are enjoying yours as well!

Then there was a picture of them standing on a mountain side with a beautiful rainforest in the background.

I hadn't heard from them yet. And I mean really hear from them, as in a phone call. Asking how I've settled in, or what I've gone and done so far. Or even just a call to say I love you.

Hasn't happened, probably won't for another week or so. It's a usual thing for them. A quick text is good enough for them so it must be good enough for me.

"You good Jeanae?" Felicity asked, a bit concerned sounding. "Oh! Yes of course I'm great. It's just a text from my mom. She sent a picture from the trip shes on." I hope the disappointment isn't to evident in my voice.

"Lemme see." She picks up the phone and gasps. "Wow that's so cool! Where are they?" "Indonesia, they're photographers." I say looking down at my hands.

"What's the matter?" She asks in a serious tone. "Its just, they aren't exactly around much. They never really have been. I haven't talked with them on the phone since a couple days before I even left to come here." I feel as if I'm getting too emotional and I'm not sure as to why, it's not like it matters much. Worst things have happened.

"Well I'm sorry Jeanae. Have you ever told them that it bothers you with them not being around very much?"

"I've tried before. A couple times actually. Huh. In fact that's why I'm here with you guys right now, instead of home alone. Which I have to admit worked out pretty great in my favor." I replied, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Felicity Dear! Mel says she needs you home now." I heard Gram yell up the stairs. Perfect timing... I kinda wanted to get off the topic.

"Okay Tabby thanks!" She yelled back in response. She stood up and so did I to walk down with her.
