Rachel rose up feeling a warm breeze on her face. She dragged herself out of bed and put on her necklace that Cole gave her.
She rushed downstairs the musty old stairs of the grand yet dusty house and found a hearty breakfast to eat. "Good morning, child!!!" Rachel's parents' friends greeted Rachel.
"Oh whatever good morning guys," Rachel said tiredly. Hurriedly she thanked God for the food and snacked in it hungrily. Just as she was finishing a way too greasy pancake. She said.
"I'm gonna go to meet Cole" she said. " We were suppose to meet at his tree house every morning." Rachel continued.
"Ok bye Rachel and take care!!!" Her parents friends said to her. Rachel packed up some supplies in a bag and zipped it and hurried off to meet her one and only, Cole.
When Rachel reached there she glanced round the tree-house looking for Cole. Where is he? She thought. Just as Rachel was going to call out Cole's name, a soft and shooting voice called out, "I'm here," Rachel turned around and saw Cole sitting on a branch. Sneaky.
"Hey beautiful." Cole said. Rachel blushed "Anyways what are you doing there?!?! How did you get there get off!!!" Rachel hissed.
As Cole slid down a very narrow tree branch leaving Rachel surprised, he said, "Didn't they teach you Ninja Tricks back at Demonia?"
Ninja tricks?! Demonia?! "What! I'm not a demon!" Rachel laughed. "And I wouldn't want to be one too... They... Killed.... My...father..." Rachel started to frown.
"What?! So you aren't a demon? Your a human?!" Cole shrieked. "Cause I'm a demon, I-I... Can't go near you... I just c-c-can't..." Cole started to back away. Then suddenly, he flew away sharply. Literally.
"So tomorrow at the same place again, then!!!" Rachel shrieked off to Cole making sure they could meet again. But she knew she had to tell her guardians but she decided to keep it a secret.
Rachel walked home, but suprized to find her guardians seated around the dinning table and their head hung down crying."Whats wrong?" She asked them."We found your dad's best friend dead in the woods with his spear in his chest," they told her sadly.
Sadly Rachel dragged herself to her room flopped down on her bed.She tossed and turned all night saying to herself "My life lost two people what will I do now,"
Soon she finally felt comfortable and fell asleep peacefully but still in her dreams she had nightmare about Cole the demon.
Now Rachel knows she has a crush on a demon but she does not know about cole?
