Y/N's Pov:

"Steve? Wha-What are you doing here?" I said, running up to him. I gave him a hug as a few tears came down. He hugged back, and smiled. I smiled back as we broke apart. "I would tell you, but not right now. Go get your dad from his lab. I know he's drunk, but we need him awake, and alive tomorrow." said Steve, ushering me to the elevator. "Also, why are you up?" asked Steve before I pressed on the button. I stayed silent, but answered. "I didn't go out most of the day due to my anxiety attack." I said. Steve sighed. "I'm sorry. I guess you got that from your dad." said Steve. I turned around, and gave him a confused look. "He had anxiety attacks?" I asked. Steve nodded, and ushered me to go get my dad. I pushed the button, and the elevator doors closed, making its way to the lab.

The elevator dinged, and I exited as the doors opened. I saw my dad drinking, and dancing as his music was on, roaming through the floor. I leaned on the door frame of the lab's door, and laughed silently. "Friday, stop the music." I said. Friday turned of the music, and Tony looked confused. "Who turned of my music?" slurred Tony. I smiled. "Hey dad," I said. "You should get some rest." I grabbed his drink, and put it down. "Whyyyy?" asked Tony, drunkly. "You're too drunk. Now, rest." I said, smiling. I walked him to his bedroom, placing him on the bed. He was knocked out almost immediately once he was laying down. I smiled, and went back to the elevator. Suddenly, I had an idea. 'I should look at some things in the lab.. No touching anything Y/N!'

I walked into the lab, examining the tiniest, and biggest objects that were fascinating. I saw a strange rock with holes, about a size of a pencil, and wide as a light-bulb. 'Wonder why there's just a rock in the lab..' Curious, I carried the rock, and froze.

(Flashback from when you were 12 years old)

"Little girl, just give us the core, and we'll be on our way." said Law, slowly walking up to Y/N. Y/N flung him back with her powers, making the others prepare for fire. Y/N warned them by releasing a blast of red magic at them. "I was told to protect the core at all cost. What do you need it for? Weapons?" said Y/N, blasting one of the shooters. "We could provide aid, and more food." said Law. Y/N scoffed. "This core was made for stronger purposes only. Don't try, and trick me." Y/N said. Suddenly, one of the shooters made its way to the core, trying to steal it. Y/N was right next the core, and tried to blast him. She accidentally hit the core, and the core exploded, Y/N taking in the core's power. Once the explosion was done, Law made his way to Y/N. "Sir, there's still a heat signature. Prepare to fire?" asked a shooter. "Hold your fire." said Law. He looked at Y/N's body, and examined her. "She took in its power.." mumbled Law. "She would be the-" Law was interrupted by cars coming. Law retreated his people back onto the spaceship, and escaping Earth. "The core is destroyed once again.." mumbled Law before leaving. The men took in Y/N, examining her new power.

I fell onto the floor, crashing into the table. My heart was beating fast, and tears fell down my face. It was already 4am. I took my legs into my face, not being able to take in what I saw. 'Was that me? Why, and How?!' I was breathing heavily, and heard a pair of footsteps coming. "Y/N! Sweetie, are you okay?" asked Pepper. I nodded my head, but Pepper still went for help. "What happened?" said Steve, walking in. "I heard a crash, and saw her like this." said Pepper, nervously. Steve kneeled down, and hugged me. "Shhh, it's okay. Don't cry. What's wrong?" asked Steve. I poked my head up, and pointed at the rock. He turned his head to the rock, and placed it in a safe. "You weren't supposed to-" said Steve. "What wasn't I supposed to see? That I had powers? For hell I know, I still do!" I shouted. Steve looked away. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap like that." I said. Steve softly smiled. "It's okay." said Steve, hugging me. I hugged him back, and he carried me back to my room. He placed me on the bed, and left. I kept seeing the scenes from the flashback. The explosion, the magic, the people. It continued until Tony came. It was 8am, and I was lost in my thoughts as Tony walked in. "Hey kid. You okay?" asked Tony. I shook my head, and told him everything. Tony sighed. "I'll help you out later..." said Tony, hugging me. He left the room, letting me lost in my thoughts again.
