Y/N's POV

"You're not a jerk, Peter. I know you feel bad about not spending enough time together, but we can do that any time. It doesn't have to be romantic, it's the little moments that count." I said, holding his hand. "See? Little moments, Peter. Plus, spending just regular time with you is amazing either way." I said. Peter smiled. "I don't deserve you." mumbled Peter. "Of course you do." I said. We sat there in silence for awhile. "So, what's up with Brad?" said Peter. "Brad? Oh, he's just a friend." I said. "Who flirts with you 24/7. That's my job." said Peter. I could feel him tensing up. "He doesn't flirt with- Oh shit, he does." I said. "Look, you don't have to worry. I only like you." I said, sitting up straight. I floated down to the ground while Peter jumped down. We returned to the hotel, and caught up with the class. "Good news. We're going to the opera." said Mr. Harrington. Everyone groaned. "Don't look at me." said Mr. Dell. "What happened to the carnival?" asked MJ. "Oh, this is upgrade living, guys. Come on, the tour company just gave us these tickets. For free! Do you have any idea how much opera tickets cost?" said Mr. Harrington. "No, because none of us have never wanted to go to the opera. Ever." said Flash. "Well, I think this is gonna be culturally envisioned for us." said Ned. "Thank you, Ned. Everyone, this is gonna be, maybe, the best 4 hours of our whole trip." said Mr. Harrington. "You could've found a better way?" I whispered to Peter. "That was the only safe plan." said Peter. I laughed silently. As we were walking to the opera, Maria filled us in. We had to leave soon. I wore a flowy white dress with a leather jacket. "Hey, I'll save you a seat." said Brad. I nodded. "See? Flirting." said Peter, coming from behind me.(that's what she said.) I giggled, and kissed Peter on the cheek as I turned around.

"You look really pretty." said Peter. "Therefore I have value?" I said. "No, no, that's not what meant at all. I was just-" said Peter, stuttering. I chuckled. "I'm messing with you." I said. Peter laughed softly. "Thank you. You look pretty, too." I said, smiling. "Small moments. Like you said." said Peter. "Taking my advice is great." I said. I was about to give Peter a kiss, but Fury interrupted me. "Lovebirds. Suit up." said Fury. We left the building, and Peter changed into his suit. I quickly put on mine, and we waited by the bell tower. "Alright, we're in position." said Peter. (that's what she said. my, my peter you dirty kid) "As soon as I see something weird, I'll let you know." I said. "Roger that." said Mysterio. "How's the suit?" asked Fury. "Uh, the suits great. It's a little tight around the old web-shooter." said Peter. "Peter!" I said, smacking his arm while laughing. "Parker." said Fury. "Okay, I'll shut up." said Peter. "If we weren't saving the day right now, I'd totally drag you to this party." I said. "I know you would." said Peter. I smiled. "I'd also kiss your cheek, but this thing called a mask is blocking it." I said. He laughed. "You two flirt a lot." said Quentin. "Get used to it, Beck." I said. I heard a chuckle. Suddenly, a monster emerged from the ground. "Okay, he's here." said Peter. "Beck, you ready? You know what to do." I said. "On your lead, Phoenix." said Quentin. He finally reached the area, and attacked him. "You guys are up." said Quentin. Peter flung an object at him while I ripped off his arm, making the arm harden, and disappear. He grew it back, and tried to smack me down. I blocked up, and guided it's attention away from me. Peter broke a hydrant, making it spray water on it. He punched the wall Peter was hanging from, and he landed on the carousel. "Beck, he's got the carousel! He's getting bigger!" shouted Peter. I landed next to Peter, helping him up. "Y/N! Help us!" shouted a voice. I looked up. "Behind you!" they said.

I looked behind me, then looked up. "Betty? Ned?" I said. "Y/N, watch out!" shouted Peter. He shot his webs at him, but they started to burn. Right before he was about to hit us, I put a red orb around us. Quentin came by, and helped me out, pushing him away. "You guys okay?" he asked, groaning. "Yeah, up to plan B?" I said. "We gotta hit him with something he can't absorb." said Peter. "I go right, you go left. Y/N, do your magic." said Quentin."Easy peasy." I said. I let an entrance for them to leave, and they started to attack them instead. "Hey, eyes on me, fireface." I said. I used all my strength, my eyes glowing red as I picked up the monster, and squeezed it with my magic. It screamed. Peter flung a rock at him, and Quentin shot his green- whatever he shot at him. "This guy's getting heavy." I said, lifting up more. "Just a little longer, I promise." said Quentin. "For dad." I mumbled. The monster got out of my grip, and punched the ground, making a crack in it, and the ferris wheel fell. "Peter, go save them." I said. "What the-" I heard him say. The monster reached out of the ferris wheel, but Quentin blasted it's hand. "Y/N, get him under control." said Quentin. I grabbed his hand back, and stabled myself. I moved my hands in a different position, and groaned. "It hurts." I said. "Y/N, I believe in you." said Peter. I breathed heavily. "I'm gonna do something really risky. I think- I think it'll work." I said, panting. "Do it." said Quentin. Everything was in slow motion. I used all my strength, and squeezed the hell out of it. It hurt like a bitch, but I gritted my teeth. I couldn't blast it because obviously, it would engulf it. I let go of one hand, making the pressure get more intense. I created a giant red orb in my hand. I slowly dropped the monster, but it was worn out from me to fight back. I made the orb bigger with my other hand, and blasted it at him. It created a giant explosion, making me drop to my knees from the exhaustion.

"Hey kid, you did great." said Quentin. I panted as my helmet went off, my hair dropping onto my shoulders. "Y/N." said Peter, landing in front of me. "I want to kiss you, but there's adults here, so help me up, and I'll give you a hug." I said. I heard Peter chuckle as he helped me up. I used him to help steady myself, my legs still being weak from the pressure. "You looked really pretty doing that." said Peter. I smiled. "You weren't so bad yourself." I said. I gave him a hug, and he hugged me back tighter. "So, it's over?" asked Maria, walking over to us. "That was the last of them." said Quentin. "But not the last threat we'll ever face. We need to stay vigilant." said Fury. He offered Quentin something, but I didn't care to listen. "You two are special, but you didn't want to come out tonight. Now, I need to know if you're serious in this or not." said Fury. "With all due respect sir, but I can't work without someone on my side. It doesn't work with me like that." I said. "Then learn how to fight by yourself." said Fury. He walked away. I lifted up Peter's glasses. "I never told you how pretty your eyes are, haven't I?" i said. Peter chuckled. "Yours are pretty nice, too." said Peter. I smiled. "Let's get a drink. You too, Parker." said Quentin, patting me on the shoulder. "We're not 21." said Peter. "You guys go without me. I'm gonna go back." I said. Peter nodded. As I was walking, I noticed Peter's web shooter on the ground. I raised my eyebrow, but picked it up.
