chapter 1: new love

"alex karev, will you marry me?"

"and, CUT!"

after a long day at work, justin and camilla just finished filming and were heading back to their trailer to get back into normal clothes. they had been sharing a trailer since the beginning and had no problems with it because they both were in relationships.

justin's pov:
"so you really think alex and jo will last?" i said
with a giggle.

"i hope so. they are perfect for each other." camilla said as she met eyes with justin...

"uh sorry, um i should probably head home. i'll uh see you tomorrow. justin."

"alright, bye camilla." i said as i watched her walk out of our trailer. i began to change out of my scrubs and into my normal clothes when the door opened again and i heard her voice.

"oh gosh! i'm sorry, i just forgot my phone." camilla said putting her hands over her eyes.

"it's ok. uh here." i grabbed her phone and handed it to her.

"thanks." camilla smiled and walked back out.

i put the rest of my clothes on and got into my car to drive home. tonight felt different than all the other nights after work. i felt... weird.

i pulled into my driveway and parked my midnight blue maserati. for some reason, i couldn't stop thinking about what had happened in the trailer with camilla. those 10 seconds of staring into each other's eyes were so amazing. i felt the spark between us. i have felt it for awhile but i never admitted it to myself because i'm married, with kids. i should be happy with that. i shouldn't be thinking about another woman. i knew camilla was happy with her fiancé and she would probably never feel the same way about me.

the next day:
camilla's pov:
"good morning, justin" i said.
"uh hey camilla" justin said with shyness.
justin seemed very different today. he was distant, in between takes and at lunch. i was worried about him.

we all walked to craft services for lunch and that's when i finally got the courage to go ask justin what was up.

"hey justin, are you ok? you seem very reserved today."
he looked up into my eyes.
"yeah. i'm fine. it's just... uh. never mind."
"justin, you know you can tell me anything. i'm here for you. anything you need."
"i'm just. i just. i need some time to think.
"to think about what?"
"it's nothing. i'm fine camilla. i promise."
"ok, just know i'm here if you want to talk."
i rested my hand on his and looked into his eyes. he definitely was acting different.
