Ch.11

Y/n POV

There was fire everywhere, the flames grew bigger each step I took. Beacon was falling to an unknown cause, I then approached an area to see Blake stabbed and Yang with no arm, I ran through the fire and towards them to see if they're alive still, Yang didn't make it and Blake was barely conscious to speak, I tried to keep her awake but she couldn't, her last words were "I'm sorry..." I started crying uncontrollably, until a faint voice appeared behind me

Ruby:"Y-Y/n... i-is that you?"I turned around to see a barely alive Ruby, using her scythe for support "Where d-did you go...?"

Y/n:"What do you mean?! I-I've been here!"

Ruby:"Why..." she falls down blood pouring from her "Why did you l-leave u-us?"

I ran towards her and helped her up, until a blade went through her chest killing her, the blade was pulled out and her body drop to the floor revealing someone wearing a mask, a black coat and a red blade

???:"Such a pity... you didn't save them Y/n..."he pointed the blade towards them then at me "You'll be joining them soon..." he ran towards me with killing intent

Y/n:"Wait! D-Don't-" he stabbed me through the heart, twisting the blade then pulling it out of me

???:"You failed, just give up..." he plunged his sword into my eye then I woke up

I shot up from my sleep, my heart pounding like it was going to explode,
Y/n:"What... what the hell... was that dream... snap out of it Y/n it's just a dre-"I was interrupted by Blake trying to pull me back down "Oh right, sorry Blake..."

Blake:"come back...too cold..."

Y/n:"Alright alright..."I lay back down and Blake started to wrap herself around me and she was shivering a bit, I do like to keep the temperature in my room a bit cold

Blake:"Warm..." she smiles and slowly fell back asleep

Y/n:"Who the hell was he..." I started at the ceiling questioning the man in my dreams and slowly falling back to sleep

TimeSkip

Ruby:"Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!"

Yang: "Bring it on!"

Ruby: "I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!" She slaps her card down on the table. Yang feigns a look of shock. "Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!"

Yang: "You fiend!"

Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn. (Ruby peaks her head up. She gives a look of surprise as, offscreen, Yang can be heard laughing arrogantly.)

Yang: Yang raises a card. "Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card! (Yang shows the card to the camera. Ruby is visibly disturbed."Giant Nevermore!" (She slams the card down on the table.) "If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!"

Y/n:"Hey guys, what are you guys doing?"

Yang:"Oh hey Y/n! What's up?

Y/n:"Nothing, I just got back from... dying..."

Weiss:"Coughing?"

Y/n:"Coughing."

Jaune:"Hey! Can I play?"

Ruby: Sorry Jaune, we've already got 4 people.

Weiss: Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt that you possess.

Yang: Uhh, you attacked your own naval fleet 2 turns ago.

Jaune: Bring it on, Ice Queen! I'll have you know that I have been told that I am a natural born leader!

Weiss: By who? Your mother?

Jaune: A-and Pyrrha and Y/n!"

Y/n:"When?"

Pyrrha: "Hello again!"

Jaune: "Come on, let me play your hand for a turn!"

Weiss: I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!

Jaune: Why not? You've trusted me with way more important stuff before. I mean, you told us all that Blake is secretly a Fa-

Pyrrha: (Pyrrha darts over and slaps a hand over Jaune's mouth.) Fun-loving person, whom we all admire and respect. (Jaune laughs nervously.)

Everyone looks nervously at Blake who looks obviously annoyed that her secret is out.

Jaune: "Right. That. Ladies, enjoy your battle."He bows as Pyrrha walks away. Footsteps can be heard offscreen.

Sun: "Sup losers."Sun appears holding his fingers in a "peace" sign."

Ruby: "Hey Sun!"

Sun: "Ruby, Yang, Blake, Y/n... Ice Queen."

Weiss: "Why does everyone keep calling me that?"

Y/n:"Do you really need to ask that?"

Sun: "I never got a chance to formally introduce you to my old friend."

Neptune: "Uhh, aren't libraries for reading?"

Ren: in the background "Thank you!"

Nora: "Pancakes!"

Sun: "Shut up. Don't be a nerd."

Neptune: "Geh, geh, geh, geh! "Intellectual", okay? Thank you. I'm Neptune"

Weiss: "So Neptune, where are you from?"

Neptune: "Haven" He approaches Weiss. "And I don't believe I've caught your name, snow angel."

Weiss: "Um, I'm Weiss."

Jaune: "Are you kidding me!?"

Y/n:"Shush"

Neptune: "Pleasure to meet you"

Sun: he looks over at Blake "I never took you as the board game playing type."

Blake: she shoves Sun aside and leaves the room. "Right, well, I think I'm done playing actually. I'll see you guys later."

Nora: "Women"

Neptune: he leans towards Sun and whispers "Uhh who's dark and murderous over there?" Pointing towards Y/n

Sun:"The dude I was telling you about on the docks!"

Y/n:"Yeah dark and murderous over here also has ears too" he bitterly said with an evil glare, Neptune started to have fear in his eyes until I laughed a bit "Oh relax I'm not gonna kill your anything, it's nice to meet you Neptune"

Neptune:"U-Uh... Yeah... you too..."

Ruby:"Hey, Y/n wanna join in?"

Y/n:"Ahh I cant right now, I have to go do other thing I need to do so let's do a rain  check" she pouts a bit but goes back to playing the game "Anyway I gotta go I'll see you guys later" he pat Ruby's head and started to leave the library
