IzuMina Week 2019

Day 6-Movie Night

It was finally Friday, and Class 1A was super excited. Not only were they going to be able to enjoy the weekend, but a few members of the class had decided it was going to be movie night. More specifically, the "few members" were three of Class 1-A's couples.

Izuku Midoriya wasn't sure exactly why he had let himself be dragged into this. Scratch that, he most certainly did, as he looked over to the pink girl by his side who was positively beaming. He and Mina had been dating for just over 3 months now. It was surprising that they were actually the first couple in their class.

What was more surprising is just how many couples popped up after the fact. And two of those couples would be joining Izuku and Mina for movie night. Eijiro Kirishima had managed to get talked into movie night (he didn't fight that hard against it) by his friend, Mina. Of course, that meant his girlfriend, Tsuyu Asui, would be coming. Surprisingly, Izuku had been the one to talk to Ochaco Uraraka in joining them, with some help from Tsu. And it took Ochaco and Kirishima to talk Katsuki Bakugo into joining in.

Though he would never admit it, Bakugo was swayed more by his girlfriend Ochaco than by Kirishima. But, nevertheless, the six found themselves in the common area in front of the TV, fighting over what movie to watch.

Mina wanted to watch Aliens, Bakugo wanted to watch some high action, high explosion movie. Izuku had at first suggested a Hero movie, but backed out of the competition fairly quickly. Now it was just between those two and their movies.

"I say we put it to a vote," Mina finally said. It was sound idea, and, though he scoffed at it, Bakugo agreed. He was certain he had Kirishima and even Deku on his side, he could probably even talk Ochaco into it.

So, when the vote came 3-1 in Mina's favor, he was completely flabbergasted. And he demanded answers. Even more surprising was the fact that the one person he counted out, Tsu, had been the one person to vote for his movie. He looked over to Kirishima and Ochaco.

"As much as I hate to admit, I get why Deku picked Raccoon Eyes' movie," he said. "But you two are a bunch of traitors." He huffed before he sat down. Mina looked over to Izuku and whispered.

"I'm kind of surprised you voted for me," she said. "I thought these movies scared you." Izuku tensed up a little, before stammering out an explanation.

"They do," he said. "But, I'm more used to them now. Plus, I know how much you enjoy them, and I wanna make you happy." She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a short but sensual kiss.

"You already do make me happy, you big dork. And that's why I love you." Izuku's face went red. They had already expressed their love for one another, but it still made him flush when he heard her say it. He smiled wider, though.

"I love you, Mina."

"Are you gonna watch this stupid movie, or do you two just need to call it a night!?" Bakugo broke them out of their little moment. They started the movie.

Throughout, there were little sounds of fear from Izuku, but much less than usual. And, surprisingly, Bakugo was enjoying it the most. Made him wonder why he even argued in the first place. Once the movie wrapped, everyone got up.

"We should totally do this again," Kirishima said.

"Next time, I get to pick the movie!" Bakugo quickly added. They all laughed, and assured him they would watch his movie next. Izuku and Mina were the last in the common area, as she collected the movie from the media player. She walked up and draped her arms over Izuku's shoulders.

"Thanks again for that, babe," she said, as they shared a kiss. He smiled and told her it was no problem, as the two of them left the common area hand in hand.
