As we walk out of the hospital, I see nothing but giant bright flashing lights from cameras and tons of news reporters. They crowded us more and more as we walked out of the hospital door.
"Mayor Beverly! Is it true that you're dating the negro?! "
"Mayor Beverly, are you actually supporting a negro in this law case?"
"Mayor Beverly is this negro really worth all of thi-"
"ENOUGH!!" Mayor Beverly yelled, shutting up all the reporters and stopping all of the flashing camera lights.
"Listen here because I'm only gonna say this once, Yes!, I am supporting James in his law case, only because I know who he is up against, personally, and I know the things that he can and will do. Okay... Now we will be going, if you all will kindly move out of the way... Thank You."
The reporters then move out of the way in a look of shock, while still snapping pictures. Nobody has ever heard Beverly speak with such anger and power. No person ever thought she would show such aggressiveness because of her being a female mayor. But I guess she proved them wrong yet again.
