Tired

You stepped in your house and put your car keys on the counter before walking up the stairs, "Grayson?" you yell but there was no answer. As you neared the bedroom you shared with your boyfriend Grayson, "Gray?" you said again but quieter this time. When you turned the corner and walked into the room you saw Grayson asleep on the bed. You sighed, its 1pm and he just now fell asleep. His sleep schedule is messed up, hes been up all night editing and trys to stay awake in the day and barely eats. You sit down beside him and run your fingernails over his bare back.

"Gray"

He hums but doesn't open his eyes or move. "Grayson" , you lay a kiss on his back and start to run a hand through his hair. He hums again. "I went and got pizza, you want some?" you ask, still running a hand through his messy hair. He weakly shakes his head yes and you stand up to go get the pizza. When you go back to the room Grayson is sitting up rubbing his eyes.

"Morning sleepyhead" you say handing him his plate. He lightly laughs and you both start eating. "Do you want to go out tonight?" He asks you taking another bight of pizza. You look at him slightly confused, "Of course, but we cant." you say. "Why not?" he asks you. You look at him with a 'duh' look on your face, "because you need sleep. You've been up all night for the past few weeks editing. Besides, Id rather just stay here and cuddle with you". He smiles weakly and nods looking at the ground.

"What?" You ask. "Its just... I feel like I haven't been a good boyfriend lately. We haven't really spent time together" he says. You shake your head and stand up, putting your plate on the table. Grayson does the same. You turn around and wrap your arms around his strong body and he wraps his arms around your neck. "Don't say that" You whisper and kiss his chest. When you both finally pull away you say, "why don't we go to bed early tonight". You pick up your phone, 1:42, "Like really early"

You both laugh and Grayson agrees. After you guys take your plates to the trash you get into bed. He pulls you into his bare chest and kisses your head before drifting off to sleep.
