"N-NIALL!" I screamed.
"Wha-" He said walking into the living room.
Staring me down was a black silhouette. It had no features, except for it's razor sharp teeth that were smirking at me and it's glowing red eyes glaring at me. It looked so inhuman.
"What is that?" I said not taking my eyes off it.
The creature took a step towards me and Niall rushed over behind me picking me up and carrying me to the kitchen before that thing could get any closer.
"What the fuck was that?" Niall whispered setting me down on the counter top.
"I I don't know." I confessed.
"How come your not in a trance like the others?" Niall asked pacing back and forth.
"Eleenaa." A deep voice echoed through the house. My hand shot up to my mouth. Niall paced over to me and intertwined his fingers with mine.
"What does it want?" I asked.
"I don't know babe." Niall said and squeezed my hand.
We heard the stereo again. It was blaring 'Same Mistakes' by One Direction. Ironic.
"That's it." Niall shouted and stormed into the living room.
"Niall!" I yelled and ran after him.
He was near the stereo.
"Niall what the hell are you doing?" Liam shouted.
"Unplugging the freaking thing." He said and knelt down. I saw him get physically pushed down on the ground. He couldn't just fall. It looked like something shoved him onto the floor.
Are you OK?!" I asked. I didn't dare go near that stereo.
"Niall, get up!" Liam yelled.
"Niall!!" I screamed.
He just lied on the floor, motionless. I finally worked up enough courage to go near that cursed stereo.
"Niall." I said shaking his shoulder. "NIALL!!"
He slowly opened his eyes.
They weren't his normal cheery blue eyes.
All the color was drained from them. They were pure black.
"Niall....?" I questioned.
He shot up and tried to grab me. I ran as fast as I could and locked myself in the bathroom. Seconds later I heard knocking on the door.
"Elena! It's me!" Niall said.
"No it's not." I shouted back.
"Elena yes it is." He said sincerely.
"You're a monster." I mumbled.
I heard the door knob jiggling and the door opened. I pulled my knees up to my chest and hid in a corner.
"Elena," Niall said standing in the door frame.
I didn't look up. I heard him walk near me.
"Elena please!" Niall said and stroked my arm.
"No go away." I said to the ground.
"What's wrong with you?" Niall asked with his voice full of anger.
"You tried to attack me!" I yelled to the ground again.
"I did?" Nall questioed.
I couldn't tell if he was playing stupid or if he was just really confused.
I fnally looked up and his eyes were back to blue.
I got up and tackled him into a hug. We both fell to the floor.
"are you ok?" Niall asked like he had no clue what was going on.
"Yes! Yes i thought I lost you!" I said kissing him.
We both heard a bone chilling scream coming from the living room.
I got up off of Nial and curried into the living room to see what was going on.
I was surprised to see Sadie standing on the couch with an umbrella in her hand. Zayn, Louis, Liam and Harry were all hiding behind the couch but they had their eyes peeking out from the top of the couch.
"Sadie what is gong on?" I asked.
I was happy t see they were all out of their trance yet sad because I had no clue what they were scared of.
"Sadie! what are you doing?" I said scanning the room. I saw nothing out of the ordinary.
"Get back!" Sadie sneerd stabbing the air with the umbrella.
"Kill it Sadie!" Harry yelled from behind the couch.
"Niall?" I asked.
I turned around and he wasn't in the living room.
"Niall!" I yelled again walking back into the hallway checking out each of the rooms as I passed them. I stopped and found Niall sitting on the bathroom floor facing the wall.
"Hello?" I asked walking int the bathroom.
"I knew you'd come back." He snickered still facing the wall. His voice was different. It was a much much deeper voice and it didnt have an Irish accent. It was an American one.
I slowly started backing out of the bathroom when I heard the door slam behind me.
His eyes changed again. They were jet black. No color in them. He was walking towards m. I had no whre to run, no where to hide.
"Get away from me!" I yelled putting my hands out.
He kept walking in my direction.
"I said STAY AWAY!" I screamed in his face.
"No Elena." He stated.
His face was inches away from mine. His peircing black eyes staring into my green ones.
"What are you." I said through my teeth with my hands pushing on his chest trying to get him away from me. But it didnt work, he was too strong.
"I am your worst nightmare." He purrd and with that statement he was gone.
I watched Niall's eyes transform from black to blue.
Tears were streaming down my face.
"Elena you alright?" Niall asked his voice was back. His chirppy Irish accent was music to my ears
I give him a giant hug.
"This is the second time yu have acted like I have come home from war. What is going on?" Niall asked as he pulled away.
"You're gonna think I'm crazy."
"Try me." Niall said.
"Well you know about the Ouija board right?" I asked.
"Yup, I remember." Niall said.
" And the stereo kept turning on by itself and you went to go unplug it but right when you were about to something pushed you and you didn't get up. So I rushed to your side you opened your eyes and they were jet black. So I ran into the bathroom and locked myself in there because you tried to grab me. I finally let you in and you were bac to normal. Then you changed agan and I asked you what you were and you said 'your worst nightmare' and now we're here." I said between sobs.
Niall tried to comfort me but I feel like this is all my faukt.
"If I didn't have that stupid board, none of this would of happened." I mumbled.
"It's not your fault. Sadie went to go get it and they were all stupid enough to play with it." Niall stated rubbing my back.
"i know it's ju-" I was cut off by some one screaming my name.
I walk out of the bathroom with Niall following closely behind. We walk out if the hallway and when I saw the kitchen I stopped dead in my tracks.
