I stayed in the hospital for a week because of having the c-section. when they discharged me I couldn't take Isaiah home with me. I ended up naming my son Isaiah. he had to stay in the hospital to get better. When I got home it didn't feel right. I felt like I abandoned my son. I called almost every couple hours to see how he was doing everyday and when I didn't call I was sleeping from the pain medicine that they had prescribed me.
It was a couple days later that I had gotten information that Christian's grandpa was sending Isaiah a crib and diapers and bedding. I had also received a pack n play from my mother's friend. She bought a-lot for my son. We had a room set up for him and everything.
It was a week later the doctor's called me and said Isaiah can go home. I was so happy and excited that I could finally bring my baby home. I had to wait till my mom got home from work because the hospital was to far from me and I needed her. When I arrived I had brought the outfit I was going to put on him and his carseat. The only thing that had made the whole situation hard was he was going to be on a heart monitor and caffeine.
The heart monitor was going to let us know when he stopped breathing and to make sure we wake him. The caffeine was going to make sure his heart wasn't going to stop. I was only 14 at the time so this was a lot for me.
When we got home my mom and sister were there also. I had cuddled with him and let my sister hold him and my mom also. I had to put Isaiah in his pack n play so I could take a shower and plus I was still so sore. The first night was the hardest because his heart monitor went off 5 times that night. Every time I heard it go off I would wake up scared.
