Chenle
"Shadows in the dark" Chenle typed into his MacBook.
No too cringey
He deleted it. For a while he was staring at the blank screen. He looked up at the window beside his bed- the sun has begun to rise and the clouds were tinted with pink and orange. He closed his laptop, set it aside on his bedside table and picked up his phone. He sighed- his parents had got him the iPhone XR only yesterday and he had already cracked it.

Monday 11 March
A minute passed and he watched his alarm go off for a while. He got out of bed and looked across the room to see his mirror. He hadn't taken off his uniform for the past two days. He pulled down the sleeves of his jumper.Jisung
"Jisung! Your bus is outside hurry up!"
Jisung's mum shook him awake. Jisung looked up at her with a confused face.
"Since when do you care about me being late?" He said, rubbing his eyes. He looked around, not recognising where he had slept.
"Did you really forget?" She held up his new uniform.
Jisung's eyes widened and he rolled out of bed.
"Hurry up, you don't have time to eat, eat at school!" She left the room.Guangzhou International
He read off the uniform. His parents had insisted on sending him to an international school, even though they could barely afford it and his Chinese was about the same level as his English.
He picked up his phone and wiped it on his trousers. He had had an iPhone 6 for close to 3 years and he hadn't cracked it or scratched it once.

"His name is Park Jisung and he has come here from South Korea," the teacher said in Chinese "I hope you will all treat him well."
The teacher gestured towards a desk in the middle of the class and Jisung sat down. Jisung took out the books that he was given and looked back up at the teacher. She was saying something to another boy in the class in Chinese.
The boy answered to the teacher, then he switched seats with the person who had been sitting next to Jisung. Jisung sat expecting him to talk to him or explain something but he did nothing. The boy on Jisung's left tapped Jisung on the shoulder.
"Hey Jisung! How are you?" he said in Chinese "I'm Mark, I think your lessons are the same as mine so you can follow me, okay?"He looked like a lot of people would like him.
"Yes thank you," Jisung said with an awkward smile.
Chenle
Wow
Chenle looked at the new boy standing next to the teacher at the front of the class. His hair was dyed light blonde, like his own, but it suited the new boy a lot more. He was taller than the other boys in the class and the uniform looked like it was made to look good on him.
Chenle found himself staring and looked away. He turned back to see his classes reaction to the boy.
"He's so cute!"
"What the hell he looks so good."
"You're so lucky the empty desk is next to you!"Obviously.. he's probably straight too, don't bother liking him.
"..name is Park Jisung."
Chenle looked back up when he heard the name. The teacher looked at him when she said that. Chenle had lived in South Korea for a few years so his Korean was quite good.Jisung took his seat and the teacher turned to Chenle.
"Make sure you go to his lessons with him and be his friend! His Chinese or English isn't very good so we'll need you to translate, okay? Swap places with Yukhei, move next to Jisung.""Yes Miss Fa."
Chenle took his things and moved next to Jisung. He pulled his sleeves down when he sat.
