"are there no conscious men in the city for you two?"
"he doesn't have anyone!" affirmed monica, like it was an argument. "yeah, we-we feel kinda responsible." added Phoebe.
lucia chuckled, watching the scene that was unfolding in front of her. earlier that day, monica and phoebe were checking the newspapers when they saw a man who was apparently attractive. monica then decided to whistle at him, but the poor guy got hit by an ambulance and he was now in the coma.
"i can't believe you said woowoo. i don't even say woowoo."
"why would you even say woowoo?" added lucia, earning a glare from monica.
"oh, she's coming up! she's coming up!" said rachel, turning on the tv.
"folks, when we come back we'll be talking about her new book, 'euphoria unbound': the always interesting nora tyler bing. you might wanna put the kids to bed for this one." announced jay leno, the presenter of the show.
"you know, we don't have to watch this. weekend at bernie's is on showtime, hbo, and cinemax." said chandler, taking the remote in his hand, ready to change the channel.
"no way, forget it." rachel slapped the remote out of his hand and it landed on joey's hands. "c'mon, she's your mom!"
"exactly. weekend at bernie's! dead guy getting hit in the groin twenty, thirty times! no?" chandler asked, going to the kitchen. "chandler, i gotta tell you, i love your mom's books! i love her books! i cannot get on a plane without one! i mean, this is so cool!"
"yeah, well, you wouldn't think it was cool if you're eleven years old and all your friends are passing around page 79 of mistress bitch.'"
"oh i remember this page!" happily said lucia, remembering when joey and her used to snitch nora bing's books from her older sister. "oh yeah the thing after the opera with the girl with the trick hip!" they earned a look from chandler and stopped talking until he turned away.
"c'mon, chandler, i love your mom. i think she's a blast." commented ross.
"you can say that because she's not your mom." at the same time, someone knocked on the door. said someone turned out to be paolo, per usual. "bona sera."
rachel and paolo kissed each other passionately while ross stared at them, disgust on his face. lucia got up and took a spoon of the ice cream chandler was holding. "could they be any louder?" she snorted, making chandler chuckled.
