Philip was comforting [name]. He had had a bad night with his parents and had ended up going to the train station, wanting to run away. Philip had caught him before he did, trying to persuade him to stay.
[name] was resting his head on Philip's lap as Philip ran his hands through his hair softly, "why do you want me to stay do bad?"
Philip blinked sadly, hand pausing slightly, because i'm in love with you. "Because you're my best friend and I don't want you to go anywhere. You can stay at my place. Helen and Gabe won't mind."
[name] tilted his head, looking up at his friend, "really? Are you sure they won't mind."
Philip shook his head, "No, they won't. I'll do anything to get you to stay."
"I'll stay." [name] confirmed, turning back around. "Can we just stay here for a little bit? I'm comfy."
"Yeah. We can stay for as long as you want."
