"Wait....where am I ?" Vera felt around her for a switch . She had woken to pitch darkness and pain on her arm.She could hear her blood pumping in her brain. "Ouch!"she winced. Oh right,that crazy thing had scratched it. Thewound still looked fresh,with crimson red liquid flowing from it onto her already soaked dress. Stay calm,she thought to herself,first we need something to protect ourselves. A sudden thought clicked in her brain. The knife in the rap sack ! Vera reached around more,and felt the thick wool fabric of the sack. She slid her hand inside and felt it touch something rusted and cool. The knife,thank god,it was still there! There was another thing too. A flashlight. How did that get here ? Oh well, I'll just use it, she thought. One hand holding a rusted knife and the other a flashlight, she slowly pushed the switch up on the flashlight. In front of her was a towering being. It was covered in fur and wore elegant clothes, completed with a top hat for a finishing touch . It's eyes were a deep red mixed with yellow. However, Vera's instincts told her that this creature was....dangerous . She steadied the knife and pointed it in the direction of the thing. "Woah,easy there. You wouldn't want to hurt anyone would you ?"the creature spoke in a surprisingly calm voice. "That's what I'll do if you move. Who-what are you?"she said, hoping to distract him enough for a chance to run away . "You may know me as The Romper and as nothing else,"it replied . " Why am I here? What do you want with me?" Vera continued firing questions . "My,my. Don't be hasty, should we not. The reason I want you is....you seem like a nice meal." It's eyes lowered and it's pupils looked straight at her. At this point, Vera's entire brain froze. She couldn't think . "I was hoping to save you until dinner but that blood smells too good. Let's dine then,shall we?" Vera remembered the wound. Oh no, oh no...... The Romper pounced on her,scaring the wits out of her. Out of pure instinct, she kicked hard and ran. The creature calling itself The Romper fell to the ground . Vera ran and ran until ..... Bonk!! Her body hit something. It was a dead end.... " Well then, let's end this game ." A pair of red eyes shone behind her.....
