Chapter 14- Hold Your Horses... Oh Shiz.

Skylar's POV

Dayla and I were walking back to the village when I saw Jason talking to a girl. She had blond hair and big glasses. I walked over to her and introduced myself. "Hi! I'm Skylar! Who are you?" "I'm Lily! Nice to meet you!" Then, another girl walked up to us. "Lily, who are they?" She asked in a quiet voice. "Thats Skylar and that's... Um.." "Its Dayla." Dayla said. "And thats Dayla." "Oh.. Um... Hi.. I'm Marian." She said really quietly. "She's really shy, and she only talks to people that she's really close to." Lily said. Marian giggled, and Dayla leaned in and whispered to me,"Why is she laughing? Was it something I said?" Dayla is an awful whisperer. "No... I just love to laugh!" Marian said between giggles. "So, how long have you guys been here?" Lily asked us. "About 2 months," I said. "HOLY FUDGE!" Dayla said. "HOW ARE WE GONNA GET HOME?!?!" She yelled into my ear. "Oh Shiz...." I said. "You're from the human world too?!?" Marian said loudly. "Yeah! How are we all going to get home?" Dayla said. "To the library!" I yelled and ran off with my friends.

Mitch's POV

I was walking beside Adam, and then I felt a sharp pain in my head. "OMG! I'm so sorry Mitch.." It was Skylar. "Its fine," I said. We got up and talked for a while, until Skylar said,"Hey, do you know anything about the human world?" "Yeah, why?" I said. "Because... I... I need to get home." She said. "Wait... you're leaving? When you find the portal back you're just going to leave me here? What about me? What about us?" I said, hoping she didn't hear the sadness in my voice. "Mitch, you know I love you so much. But I have a family, and friends, and a school, and a pet dog named Titan. I love my human life so much, and I love you just as much. Now I gotta go. Bye." She said and walked away with Dayla and 2 other girls. I sighed and walked off, forming a plan in my head. Then it hit me. What if I could do something to make her stay? What if I made her feel sorry for leaving me? My eyes settled on the girl Skylar called Marian. I have a plan.
