Chapter 2- A Hospital Trip

Skylar's POV

I woke up lying in a bed with Ashley sitting in a chair beside me "SKYLAR!!!" She said. "YOU'RE NOT DEAD!! YAY!!" "What happened?" I asked. "A brick came and hit you in the head and you blacked out. We're in the ambulance." She said with concern. "In a tornado?" I asked worried. "Don't worry, these people know how to drive." Just then, the ambulance took a sharp turn and everything slid to one side. "You sure?" I asked Ashley. She chuckled. We came to a stop, and they rolled me to the hospital room. As we were moving, I tried to reach up and touch my head. One of the doctors grabbed my hand and put it back by my side. We got into the room and they moved me to a hospital bed. I winced in pain as they put the needle in my arm and injected something. Ashley stayed there the whole time. My vision was going blurry, and I started blacking out. Then, everything went black. (again lol)

Still Skylar's POV

We walked out of the hospital 1 week later. Most of the way to our apartment, we sat in silence. Ashley broke the silence by saying, "Hey do you wanna go camping this weekend?" "Sure" I said. I knew Ashley was trying to make me not concentrate on my head and how much it hurt.
