LOVING AND FIGHTING

CHAPTER 1

 "MADDIE, LETS GO WAKE UP" my stepmom screams from her room as I rub my eyes. "MADISON," she says once again, "I'm up"I scream. just then I realize how late I m going to be. I put my dirty blond hair up in a scrunchy throw on my unworn uniform, and run out to the car. It's my first day, and I already hate it, I haven't even got there yet.

As my stepmom and I pull up to the front of the school, she looks at me with a gentle look and says to me," your gonna do great don't worry." As I get out of the car, I face my new school im going to be at for the next four years. As I walk through the front doors, I get a warm meeting by an elderly lady with black hair and gray roots. "hello dear welcome to the Moore Catholic family I hope you enjoy it here." as I try to be as lovely as possible I shake the women's hand smile and walk away.

As I am heading to the cafeteria, I see crowds of people, so many people socializing and then there is just me sitting at the end of a small table by myself starting to read my favorite book for the second time. Just as I am getting ready to go to my locker, a girl with tan skin and brown hair stops me from walking and ask me," whatcha reading"?as she chews on her mint gum" a book called after." she asks me what the book was about. As we are walking to my locker, I explained how the book went and what was it about. Just before the first bell rings she says to me," my name is Layla." as she holds out a hand for me to shake "Maddie" I say as I shake her hand. "well I have to go to homeroom,nice meeting you tho Maddie." she says as she smiles and runs to a room down the hall.

I walk into my homeroom, and it is filled with kids, I don't know where to sit, as I scan the room looking for a seat I find a small desk in the back corner, "perfect" I say lowly as I head to the empty chair. I sit down, I see a boy with light brown hair, and hazel eyes  , sitting in the seat next to mine. He is the cutest boy I have ever seen. As I continue to read my book still shook even though I read it already I hear a deep voice coming from the left side of me, saying," hey what's your name." as I look up from my book to a warm smile from the kid next to me,"I'm Maddie what about you." I say."Noah," he says as he pushes back his hair, "Jesus i don't understand how someone can be this attractive when not even trying, "I think. "what classes do you have," Noah asks me as he snatches my schedule off of my desk. "we have 4 classes together plus lunch" Noah says in shock . "if im going to be seeing him that much I might as well start looking better." I think to myself. "Well see you later Maddie," Noah says and smiles to me as we go different ways to our lockers.
