Chapter Ten.

Third person's point of view.

Raven's words had their attention. He sat on the couch making it look so much smaller because of his size alone. 

"How can we believe you?" Damon snapped from his spot near Elena.

"You can't but just know that; you and I face the same enemy," Raven said.

Elena's eyes slipped from Raven's face to his arm, 

"Did he do that to you?" she asked,

Looking at his own arm then back to her, he shook his head, 

"No this was someone else, what he did to make me his enemy was threatening my Omega," Raven said and Elena perked up,

She'd grown up around Betas, her being one herself, she'd never really met and Omega so hearing anything about them really interested her, Raven could see this in her eyes. 

"Have you never met an Omega before?" Raven asked, 

Elena shook her head, 

"So Alphas are rare to you as well." he said,

She nodded,

"Well, you should have at lease met two or three by now," Elena frowned, 

"Klaus Mikalson and his brother Elijah are Alphas, why do you think they don't get along, Raven explained.

"How do you know them?" the witch asked moving closer,

"I've had a few run-ins with them over the years, Klaus thinks because he's a special hybrid that everyone instantly fears him, but he got the wakeup call of his life when he met me," Raven said with a deep laugh. 

"Where were you when we were dealing with him months ago." Stefan laughed out,

"Dealing with some demons of my own." Raven said, 

"Anyway back to the current problem at hand, Silas," Elena nodded, 

 "He wants Bonnie, she's the only one with the power to find Amara." Damon said sitting across from Raven and Elena. 

"We don't even know your name," Elena gasped out touching Raven's arm, 

Letting her hand slip through to his own hand, he smiled, then kissed the back of her hand.

"Raven Cronwell," he said,

After returning to the place Silas set up to feed, Raven found that he was alone, which was a reprieve. He wanted time alone with his thoughts and being alone with Silas at that moment wouldn't have helped. 

"Your helping him?!" a familiar voice snarled out from behind Raven, 

"Qetsiyah," Raven said softly while turning to look at her over his shoulder. 

She looked downright murderous, her eyes narrowed and her jaw clenched, her shoulders were tight and her fists were clenched as she glared at Raven. 

"You're betraying me for him?!" she snarled again, 

"Not of my own free will," Raven said standing,

"What did he threaten you?" she mocked, 

Raven shook his head, 

"No, not me, you know well enough that him threatening me means nothing to me," 

Sucking her teeth she crossed her arms and looked away from him, she knew he was right.

"He threatened my mate, Qetsiyah, you know that our past was complicated, it became even more so the minute the two of them bonded, it was bound to happen, her Omega pheromones were just too much for him to resist, just like his Alpha ones called to her. They were meant for each other, no matter who it hurt." Raven said having had this conversation with Qetsiyah before.

"But it's not fair, Koráki! He was mine! We were supposed to be married!" Qetsiyah wailed. 

Raven nodded and patted Qetsiyah's head as she sobbed and pounded his chest in anger. 

"Don't cry, he will get what is coming to him, he threatened my mate, my anger in unstoppable when it comes to those I love." she nodded. 

"Now go do what you have to, but call if you need me." he said and she vanished with the wind.
