Their synopsis: Boarding school wasn't exactly the birthday gift twelve-year-old Asteria Stewart would've desired more than a book, but she wasn't going to start complaining. Her parents had discussed getting her 'proper education'; "A place for her to be shaped into a fine young woman," she'd hear her father tell her mother. So when she was handed the leaflet for Madam LaLaurie's Home For Girls as her last birthday present, she wasn't caught off guard, and she certainly wasn't completely dreading it- as a matter of fact, the child was quite excited at the idea for a higher education and the opportunity to potentially make new friends.
But after her first day there, the young Stewart began to find... peculiar things about the school. The strange murmurs that drifted from the headmistress' office during lunch hours. The odd behaviors of her roommates. The strangers dressed in black that would drop by ever so often to check on the girls. It all was completely strange, and Asteria was determined to find out what's going on.But little does she know that the secrets of the school and all of its inhabitants- especially Asteria- are part of something bigger than she was expecting. And that in this school, nothing- and no one- is quite what they seem

Title: Madam LaLaurie's Home For Girls
Subtitle: It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.
Plot: Asteria Stewart, a 12-year-old girl with somewhat absent parents expected to be sent off to a boarding school. But what she didn't expect was for her boarding school to also be an underground crack house. On her very first day in attendance, she noticed peculiar things about the school, such as white powder lines scattered here and there, random hobos sleeping in the hallway, used needles and empty pizza boxes lying around everywhere, and all of the uber-rich teachers dressed to the max. Drug dealers, dressed in all black as to not be recognized by random passerbyers or cops, dropped by every so often to make sure none of the girls had caught on. And if they did, well, you better believe that Asteria would find out what would happen if they did. As Asteria begins to uncover the truth about her school, she realizes she is part of something bigger than just a crack house. Her boarding school is the cover for the countries biggest drug cartel/mafia. Will Asteria turn them into the police, or will she climb to the top of the drug ring and rule it herself?
