2 weeks later I wake up, the warm newly spring sun shining on my pale skin. I stretched my arms. I notice on the side table beside me was a plate of breakfast. I went to grab it when I hear a familiar voice.
"Let me get that for you." I look over to see the same green eyes, curly blonde hair, and big glasses. Landry gives me a warm smile whilst placing the plate of the tray in front of me.
"Thanks." I replied before scarfing down my food. It was delicious. It didn't taste like the hospital food.
"Where did you get this?" I ask finishing it off. I looked up at him his sweet smile gone with a slight blush on his face.
"Well I didn't have any money to buy you anything for breakfast, so I made it myself." He replies. He made this?
"I knew you would hate it." He says sitting in the chair staring at the floor.
"No Landry it's really good, I'm just confused on why you made me breakfast." He looks up at me with a big smile.
"Because were friends." He says picking up the plate and packing it away in a bag.
"Friends?" I asks. He went to reply, but was cut off by a woman barging into the room.
"Landry are you finished? Oh hello dear." She suddenly looks at me, her frown becoming a grin.
"Hi." I say. I am so confused, she didn't look anything like Landry she had dark hair and dark eyes.
"Oh Josie this is my mom." Landry says standing from the chair. I'm in my pajamas! I quickly jump up and run to the bathroom. I change into a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. Quickly pulling up my hair I step out. I shake Landry's mothers hand.
"It's very nice to meet you Mrs. Reuben." She puts her other hand on mine. Giving me the sweetest smile.
"Call me Lexi dear." I just nod my head. She was a sweet lady.
"I'm Josie Dodger." I say smiling back. She seems nice.
"Oh why don't I give you our number so you and Landry can get together." She says digging through her purse. Landry suddenly stops her.
"Mom don't overwhelm her." He says taking his mom hand out of her purse.
"Oh pity, I guess we better get going anyways. Goodbye Josie." She says waving.
"She's cute." I hear his mother mutter to him.
"Mom stop it." Landry whines to her. I giggle seeing the door shut. I notice a napkin on the floor. Lexi must have dropped it when she was digging in her purse. I pick it up, it looks like there's something written on it.

She still gave me her number. After a couple hours I walk over and pick up my phone sending a text.
JOSIE: hey it's Josie.
LEXI: Oh hello darling.
LEXI: We should come to lunch there one day.
JOSIE: That's not necessary.
LEXI: To late we have already made the plans see you tomorrow at lunch time.Great, I've only just met her and she's making lunch plans.
I look at the clock, 8:30pm. I've lost track of time. I slide into pajamas and into bed.I awake, 10:57am. Gives me an hour to get ready. I go to the bathroom and take a quick shower. I wash my hair and my face. Once I step out, I blow dry my hair. Styling it in a half ponytail. I get dressed in a plain white sweater dress with black leggings and black boots. I put my pendent on the dress. The pendent was very special to me. It was given to me by my grandmother when I was a baby. It was the only thing my parents didn't find and take from me. I head to the door putting on some chapstick. As I go to leave I notice the scarf sitting on the table. I plan on giving it to Lexi.
I make my way to the garden where I see Landry, Lexi, and three others. There is an older man, a boy who looks to be in his teens a little older than me, and a girl who looks almost identical to Landry but younger. I guess I am a little late. I make my way over to the table. Lexi stands up containing me in a hug.
"Josie dear it's so great to see you." She says. Once she lets go and hold out the folded scarf to her.
"I wanted to get you a little something." She takes it and pulls me into another hug.
"It's beautiful dear." She says.
"Oh let me introduce everyone. This is Ken my husband." She says pointing to the older man.
"This is my oldest Branan" I wave, he just looks at me. What was his problem. Then she points to the girl.
"This is my youngest Jaeger." She says hugging her.
"It's nice to meet you." I say.
"Landry you were right she is pretty." Im taken off guard. Landry talks about me?
"Quiet now Jaeger stop embarrassing your brother." Ken says.
"Ugh fine." She says crossing her arms.
