'Sl..slee..sleeping,' I replied stuttering.

'Then why did you call Mizi 4 in the morning?'

'I-i missed her an-and felt like talking to her.'

'Oh. Well she called back, but you were sleeping.'

'Ok-oka-okay I'll get back to her.'

He left after giving a slight nod. I sighed, phew that was scary. I need to get out of the house quick. He's never gonna let me outside anyways after what happened so may be it's time to sneak out. Hmm that's going to be challenging. But first, I need to talk to Mizi.

"Hey Farhin. What's up?" An excited voice said.

"Not good girl. We need to talk." I said sighing.

"Sure. Is that why you called at-"

"Yeah yeah now listen. I found a murder weapon and I need you to scan the finger prints on it."

"What?! Did you call the police? Where did you find it? Are you oka-"

"MIZI! We need to meet up. I can't talk much longer, he can come any moment now."

"Okay. Come to my place."

"Cool I'll be there, bye."

I quickly ended the call and headed to freshen up. It's going to be a long day today.

During breakfast

Me and Jin sat opposite to each other at the dinner table. While munching on my mochi balls, a light reflected to my eye. It came from Jin's shinny polished watch. Very fancy. Seems like he planned on going somewhere. Hmm that'll be great. Suddenly Jin stood up from his chair with a serious expression.

"Farhin, I have to go to a important meeting. I'll be late home." He stated calmly whilst putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Okay." I said and waved him bye. He then took the car keys and stormed off to work. The coast was clear, it was time to start investigating.

I called Mizi again.

"Bruh where you at?"

"I'm coming bro just wait for 10 mins and I'll be there."

I tore up the stairs, grabbed my purse and the weapon in it and dashed outside the house. Whatever I do had to be quick.

I called a cab and headed to her house. During the ride I was lost in my own thoughts.

I was surprised to see that the door was not locked. Jin trusts me enough to keep the main door unlocked while keeping me "captivated" in his house.
Is this some kind of a joke? Should I feel ashamed that I'm "breaking" his trust or should I feel ashamed for not trying to get out of this mess before.

Just think about it. If the door was always unlocked then why didn't I step out of the mess. He didn't actually really "captivate" me I guess. I had the chance to go, to leave. But then why did I stay? It's like I never even tried to escape.

My tide of thoughts came to an end when I reached my destination.

"MIIIZIIII I'M HEREEEE!" I shouted. She opened the door with an annoyed face and calmly pointed at the useless switch beside her door. "Little bitch, ever heard of a calling bell. You almost woke my son up."

I just grinned like an evil baby. I just love the feeling of getting on her nerves.

Now let's get down to business. I handed her the weapon and she examined it. She was in the forensic department of T.O.P department. Yeah I know I have pretty cool friends.
