That night I couldn't manage myself to sleep, and I couldn't stop thinking about the beauty of the girl that I just met... It was incredible when I realized, that I was still human and not a bloodthirsty animal, who was filled with the purest hate of all times. I stood still for all the night just staring at the ceiling, thinking about what was the reason behind a tiny smile that was on my lips. I tossed and turned, thinking about her touch, her smile, her everything. I really wanted to see her again, but I just knew her name and that wouldn't help me at all...
The next morning, I jumped out of bed, with a weird sense of energy, that I didn't have in a long time. I just felt happy about something, and even though it was raining, I had the feeling that the sun was going to peek out the dense clouds, making this a wonderful day.
"I... I want to do something!!" I shouted to myself, full of energy and courage to do anything that was possibly meant to be, but first... "Coffee..." I grunted heavily, almost imploring for a little drop of that black liquid that got me totally crazy. I took a shower, feeling every drop of water, running down my pale skin and how everything was right. For a moment, I enjoyed something that wasn't just wondering around a city without any other purpose than getting myself in trouble or looking at an old statue in the middle of the park.
I rushed to the café, wich weird enough was closed. I looked at the time and it was way early to the stores to open like they always just to be. I looked around, looking to the brown and red leaves of the trees that decorated that cold morning of autumn that was so special and loved by me.
I sat down next to a tree, looking left and right for anything new and interesting to investigate, when I heard a whisper in the middle of that ethereal and pleasing silence.
"Morning~" I looked at the direction of the sound and I just saw her, standing there, smiling at me sweetly.
"Oh, good morning miss Angel~" I said in sweetly while looking at her, right into her eyes. She blushed and looked away quickly as she played with her hair softly.
"It's too early to be out in this cold... You dummy..." And I saw her warm breath, pierce right through her scarf, creating a soft fog in front of her face. She came closer and showed me her hand. "Let's go for a walk~" She looked at me, smiling... And I got lost for eternity in that gentle smile that warmed my heart and soul. I took her hand and slowly rose up. "Let's go..." I couldn't say much... I just was shocked that somebody like her, showed up right beside me.
She shivered when I touched her hand, and she quickly put her hands around my cheeks, near my neck. "You are so cold! You could get sick, you know?..." She looked worried and looked at me closely, then, she came back from somewhere where she got lost for a couple of seconds. She took off her scarf and wrapped it gently around my neck. "See? Is much better and you are a bit warmer~" She smiled, and I was standing there, looking at her smile, remembering every single detail about her. She pulled my arm sweetly, while she looked away, totally red. "W-what are y-you looking at?..." She pouted and looked at me from the corner of her eye. "Let's go dummy..."
We started to walk, slowly and steady, one next to each other, with our hearts in synch the whole world could see, miles away, but I was too blind to see it... We continued walking, a long time before we realized that the people were coming out of their homes, which made me wonder a single question. "What were you doing, walking so early in the morning?" She just looked at me as she smiled. "It's a secret~" She let out a tiny giggle while looking again forward. We walked to the café, which was still closed. She pouted cutely with her lips, making a little puppy sound that sounded so adorable, that made me giggle, for real, in a very long time.
She looked at me, and I looked at her, what was she trying to tell me? Was she even trying to tell me something? I smiled and took a deep breath. "Do you... Want to stop for a coffee at my home?" I looked away as her eyes lit up. "YESH! I mean... Yeah, it will be nice." I laughed a little bit and looked at her. "Let's go~" And I started walking, hearing her footsteps next to me. My heart was warm and filled with a feeling of joy I can't describe. We walked to my house, and we entered. She stood still and saw the place from left to right. "T-this is y-your house?! Its huge!!" She ran around, looking at everything she could, finding something interesting, and then looking at something else. Something about her made me feel an urgent need to protect her at all cost. From that point forward, I started to notice that my heart skipped and jumped when she was around me and that something in my inside was safe and sound, just by looking at her smile.
I prepared two cups of black coffee and sit in the couch, letting a big sigh out of my mouth. She sat down next to me, holding her mug very close to her, shivering from the cold. I took off my jacket and covered her with it, she shuddered and blushed, covering her face with it. I laughed and put on some music that relaxed a tense atmosphere build up between two strangers, who knew themselves more than they thought so. She drank little sips of coffee, slowly drinking them, while she moved her feet while she talked to me about yesterday and what happened next.
"And that... Tha... That was the time... I... I..." I couldn't believe how sleepy she was until she left the mug on the coffee table and yawned a couple of times, rubbing her eyes. "Sowwy... I didn't sleep well... Last night..." She pouted again and closed her eyes gently, falling asleep where she sat. She was exhausted and couldn't manage to stay awake for any longer. Slowly she tilted her body towards mine, laying on top of me as I slowly fell asleep, due to her warm body, against mine. I put my hands gently over her head, caressing her, while I slowly drifted away in a warm place, where everything is much better. Someplace similar, or maybe heaven itself.
