Yoongis pov-

The people at school always said I was lonely. They would make fun of me, say I had no friends, push me around a bit, it didn't bother me though. I was used to it. At first, it had bothered me, but I had told myself I just had to suck it up. It's not like I could have talked to anyone about it, my dad wasn't there and my mum was always working. After a while, I decided to just not let it bother me anymore, I refused to spend my afternoons at home, crying, just because I knew nobody could hear me. I figured it was fine I didn't have friends, I could always make some. I had a room full of teddy bears my mum had gotten me. I had never really had a use for them, until now. After only one evening I already had over a dozen friends, all with different personalities and backstories. Everything started to look up from then on.

I still had people bothering me at school, but I knew it wouldn't matter the minute I stepped through the door, because my real friends would be waiting for me. Keeping this in mind I plastered a smile to my face on my walk home from school. I was so excited to get home today, Daisy promised to tell me who her crush was. Suddenly I stopped. My feet felt heavy, my breath turned laboured. They were there. My bullies. They were right outside the passage I would need to go down in order to get to my house. I couldn't go down there. I couldn't face them. I couldn't risk them finding out which house was mine. I didn't know what to do. eventually, I decided to cross the field and sit by the pond until I thought they'd be gone. Whilst at the pond I saw a willow tree, they had always been my favourite because they were the only tree that seemed sad' like I so often felt. I advanced towards it, thinking about whether I could sleep underneath it, or if that was too dangerous for a child, by themselves, in public. I swiftly stopped my thoughts after I saw that there was already someone under the tree. How had I not noticed them before?
