Matrix's POV
I woke up beside Blake and his mother. They were talking about something. It seems like Blake is searching for answers to his mother, as to everything. I felt terrible, as I just hid the truth from Blake in everything.
I recalled Anonymous, fighting up above. He generally fights Disaster alone. They're both dangerous and it is a very foolish act to get close to them. Those people doesn't know the true meaning of safe as they fight recklessly among every other land like it was the same.
Reborn is still sleeping close to me. After being healed by Blake, he got himself injured again. It was as far as I remember, than an explosion from Disaster happened hours ago.
"Son, you are a Terra." I heard Blake's mother speak out revelations.
I knew about Terras. I, myself, is a Terra, the heroes behind Functioners while being stronger than ordinary heroes.
In Blake's eyes, you can see the mystery that slowly unfolds as his mother speaks. I just wish that I've seen my mother explain to me things that I did not know of before, and up to now.
I tried to get up but I couldn't. The pain that I experience was not just a typical pain that I am familiar of. This is new. Heck, I can't even move my feet again.
"Just try to lie down again, Matrix. Your right foot was dismembered from you." Blake said.
What?! I lost my foot?!
"Thank mother that she just healed and fixed you up. You are back to normal but you need to take a rest." Blake explained to me, looking at my eyes sincerely.
I closed my eyes to make myself fall asleep.
A few hours ago...
After a while, I was inside a white realm with nothingness. Just pure white, everywhere. It seems that I was alone in this place who knows where.
Moving my feet and traversing the unknown spaces in front of me, it feels like I was walking forever, that I am just in one position and continuously moving my feet one after another. Seemingly, moving ahead is useless, but something kept me walking. I don't know what that something is, but it must be something special.
A cube, colored in green and blue, hovering over a statue of sword, appeared from nowhere. I was startled so I backed off a bit and is about to run to the opposite direction. Yet, I can feel that it was pulling me to it. It was like I was bonded into the cube, and it seems it's like a part of me.
Foolish it may be, but I wanted to ask it, hoping it might speak magically like any other usual thing we encounter, but I can't. My lips won't move as I wanted it to. I was unable to speak that time.
My intention is to walk over that cube and let it do its thing. It looks like there was no other choice, as there was no way out of this place.
Slowly reaching out for the cube, when the distance between me and the cube was closed off, I touched it, not thinking about anything that will happen after.
It showed me a vision. In my eyes, it's like a movie playing just for me. I was in a battlefield, full of blood and bodies that lie across the field. Swords and shields are scattered around the lands. Ashes tell that the battle was scarce and deaths remain countless. Fires on the ground were still burning. It must be from the catapults the other sides have exchanged.
Every living thing surely have died here. There's not even a soul that speaks out for help. No one moves except for the wind that passes by the bloody field and the fires themselves.
