Reborn's POV
"Nah. We don't celebrate birthdays here. We're all 16 here by the way excluding your mother. I don't know how the new generation got this kind of curse." I answered while laughing, to a question Blake has asked.
He moved in front of me, holding the chair and said,
"Maybe it's time we celebrate birthdays?"
He's right. It's been long since we had birthday celebrations. I mean, for us, me and my family always have parties in our houses. That was when I was normal and not included in this kind of war. That was before Royale burnt into ashes. Oh, how I miss my parents.
"What do you think?" I asked them all.
Everyone nodded in response to my question. I stood up and shouted,
"Then, what are waiting for? We should go get some food and celebrate our own birthdays at once!"
Everyone got up on their own feet. Anonymous, still sitting down, has an obvious facial expression on which he looks bored and full of hesitation. I walked up to him to cheer him up and persuade on getting food for everybody.
"Hey, Anonymous. Is there any problem?" I asked.
Anonymous just stared at me. Suddenly, tables and chairs appeared beside me with a great number of foods on top of it. He seemed like he cares. But then, he stood up and joined us at the table. When all were sitting down, I think it's time to open up topics and greet each other happy birthdays.
"What happened to Disaster?" Matrix asked.
Oh, I recalled. He was asleep that time.
"Well, Anonymous said that he escaped after being hurt by our leader's long sword." I proudly said.
Anonymous smiled, accepting the compliment. All of us continued to eat. Blake and his mother sure are enjoying themselves since they have each other's company. Matrix is busy eating, not minding anyone after he asked a question. Anonymous? He's just the typical and normal leader we know. Always serious like he's always ready for a fight.
All were laughing, sharing their silly stories.
"...as we go on to the waterfall, Reborn over here slipped and lost his shield on the pit!" Matrix laughed so hard while sharing our funny story.
That happened a long time ago, when we are just new members of Anonymous' leadership. It just so happened that since it's my first time, I'm so nervous that anytime I'll fall down to my knees.
Our challenge is to cross the pit from the other side to another. The twist is, you'll have to cross to a thin thread like mothers usually use when they have to knit something.
To start crossing, you'll have to jump down on a scaffolding near the pit. We were on the mountains that time and it was raining. So, on my nervousness, I slipped down and nearly fell on the pit. My shield was lost that time. Then, Anonymous said that I have a new challenge. It was to redeem my shield back below the pit. The two of them are laughing so loud.
"Stop that man! I hate this conversation!" I said while also laughing, seeing Matrix's monstrous face.
All seems to be enjoying themselves while having fun at the table. At least at these times, these people could forget the war we've been going through. More importantly, it was our first time for a long time that we had a celebration like this. What I wished to Anonymous, finally have been granted. It seems that completing the Ulti 4 had good advantages!
The food are slowly consumed by the hidden gluttons of the heroes here, including me. Whenever what we eat are eaten wholesomely, our leader keeps on snapping to restore the food we want. I just want to do this forever!
