Reborn's POV

My name is Escara Grit. I was once, like Blake and Vex, a normal being living with my parents. I wish I could experience the sweet hugs my mother and father used to give me. Such things are just dreams now. Dreams that I can never feel again. If it not for Zack, or rather the name he gave me, Anonymous, I would have wept forever in the lands of Royale.

Six years ago...

Tourists used to travel from around the world to the land of Royale. It is the center of the trading systems in the continent of Asia. This is the perfect place if you want to buy anything you cannot buy from your own place.

"Escara? Where are you son?" my mother asked for me while still carrying the fishes she will sell through our stall.

"Right over here, mom!" I shouted, running closer to her.

It was a daily routine for me to always help my mother carry her goods. Right after playing, there's always intervals to where she will go out. During weekdays, she'll go out after 9 in the morning, and I will be there exactly 8:59 AM. It's a mystery for me as to how she always have the exact time everyday even when she's busy. Saturdays and Sundays, she will go out earlier than weekdays, 8:00 AM and I will be there before 8 o'clock.

I carried half of the goods my mother is carrying. Both of us walked in paces, outside, to the center of Royale. It is near the fountain where buildings so high are placed in circles. Everyone keeps on being busy, and in here, you'll see no person who is not doing anything. Maybe, a vital reason why this trading center became the most popular among the world is because of the people itself.

My mother took a deep breath before readying up the stall for use. Long lines are always ready before we could even prepare the stall we are going to use for the whole day. It is a normal day with a normal weather and everything seems to be going on in a cycle, forever.

"Escara, can you do a favor for me?" my mother asked, with a sweet tone.

"Yes mom!" I joyfully replied.

"Please entertain our dear customers while I'm preparing the stall, okay son? I forgot something. I'll be back as soon as possible." she said, picking up the plastic bags to be containers for the fishes she forgot.

I was about to leave when she pulled me, refraining from walking one more step.

"Take care, dear." she said. She kissed me on the forehead after she said those kind sweet words. I'm so blessed to have her as my mother.

Mom slowly returned back to our house, a few clicks away from our stall. My thoughts are filled up with words that could entertain the customers somehow, while waiting to serve them up the service they prefer.

As I was checking up on everyone, I felt hot hands on top of both shoulders. It felt so heavy that I hurriedly turned back. It was my father.

"Hello dear. What are you doing today?" he asked, smiling with his eyes wide open.

"Father!" I exclaimed just before answering his question.

I pointed towards our house. He already knows what to do, to follow her. He patted me on my head, just like how he does it every single time, then walked slowly then quicker every second he gets closes to our house.

I continued my job that my mother asked me to do so. These people I'm entertaining are laughing, and that means it's a good sign that my mother's favor is being granted in the process.

Mom came back, with dad beside her. Dad carries everything that my mother has searched for in our house. The lines have continued to thin out as customers leave the piles with their bags of fishes in their hands. I went close to them to help them out for the sales since a large mass of people are still going into lines.
