Expectations
The funny thing about expectations is that no one can live up to their expectations given to them by other people.
Why do we feel the need to have expectations for people even though we know that it is not going to be fulfilled?
I'll tell you why...
Hope
we all have so much hope in that person that we think we know so well and we make expectations for them to fulfil hoping that they would be the ONE.
That they would be our Romeo, our Juliet.
That they would be our Prince/Princess Charming.
I'll tell you this that no matter how low your expectations are for someone all of it would not be fulfilled because we are only human and we are not perfect.
Don't set your standards low for people, you are special and if they deserve to be in your life then they would respect you and live up to your standards.
In the end you may even be surprised that they live up to your expectations or even surpassed you expectations.
Even though we say that we don't have expectations for others we all do.
Give it time.
