Ryota POV

I arrived at school and Souski opened the car door for me to step out. Every girl in the school started squealing. I looked around smiled at everyone as girls squealed louder and my eyes landed on her, Lucy Heart. We stared at each other a while and suddenly we turned our heads in the opposite direction. I clicked my tongue and walked away. I meet with my friends: Raios, Hiiro, Katsu & Ryuu.

I feel weird. Something is bothering me but can't put a finger on it

"Hey Ryota, what's up?" Raios asked a little concerned. I looked up and said.

"The ceiling, duh!" I chuckled. Raios gave me a knowing look to me.

"Okay, sorry man. It's nothing." I said smiling

"Don't play dumb with us," Ryuu said smirking

"We know you better." Hiiro finished Ryuu sentence smirking.

"We know it's about Lucy" Katsu said.

"It's not like that, no more it's not even about Lucy" I said.

"then what is it about?" Raios said smirking. He knew that I was lying. I looked straight at his eyes, he knew I can't win.

"I give up, I'm thinking of a plan to make her angry." I said sighing.

"well, that was unexpected" Hiiro said confused

"I'm not sure why you think Hiiro" I said confused as well

"well, you know I thought you had a thing for her" Katsu said like it's obvious

"you mean 'we' not 'you' Su-chan" Hiiro said correcting his friend.

"whoa, whoa, whoa. You guys thought I had a thing for her, seriously," I said

"well yea 'cause the way you look at her is different, and it's different when the way you look at her when everyone is looking" Ryuu finished confusing everyone but me, I understood every word he was trying to say.

"unbelievable," I started when the starting bell rang "you know what, I'm out of here and also we will talk about this later."

'I can't believe they thought that. 'the way you look at her is different' like hell that is, I can't fall her. I have a duty to fulfill and I can't let my guard down' I thought as I entered my classroom.

I got my lunch and walking to my table when I noticed her, the one and only loser girl. I smirked and eavesdropped on her conversation.

"You don't know," she questioned her friend. "Don't act foolish with me. He ruined my reputation in the whole school. He is the reason why I'm all alone in the corner of the dining hall and only have you as my friend, my only friend." Scarlet was kind of shocked with her response. I was too. But I recovered quickly. Her friend was about to say something but those idiots started laughing and laughed harder when she looked at them. 'I have a bad feeling but this is my chance to make her angry' I thought as I looked at my tray with a sandwich and drink. 'drink it is' I thought smirking as I poured the drink on her head. She froze for a second. I whispered softly "were you talking about me a minute ago". Her friend, Scarlet hold her hand and whispered something like 'close your eyes and count to 10'. She did what her friend said. She closed her eyes and counted to 10 backwards. 'time to mock her a bit' I thought still smirking

"Aww! A friend to your rescue, so cute"

"Giving up without a fight, huh?" I smirked as I said and came closer

"Wait a sec, could it be, you're a scaredy cat"

"Shut up idiot, I'm not someone who backs out without fight but this is a special case so you better stay away from me and my friend. If you try anything like this again, you suffer really badly that I will make you wish you were dead" she growled at me and walked away. 'make me wish I were dead, huh. If it isn't for me you would've been dead a long time ago princess' I thought, my smirked disappeared and was replaced with a sad smile. 'I'm not shocked with her reply 'cause that's the exact reaction was what I wanted.' I walked past my friend looking like they understand what I was planning and nodded their head to me. I suddenly felt evilness in the air, my eyes widened 'Lucy' that is the only thing in my mind 'Lucy, is she safe, is she okay,' I thought panicking.

"Ryo-chan, she is with her so it will be fine. Trust her, you have to" Hiiro said looking concerned.

"I know but I can't help think about her safety" I said looking down

"I know just trust her, she is after all your mother" Hiiro said.
